Nothing special here. ****************************************************************************** * Stage 2: Intro * ****************************************************************************** Hey Guys, welcome to my next guide in my series of works. As you can tell from my user name, my name is Gamer364. This guide is designed to help all players playing this game unlock all the achievements/trophies. Apparently, this game was made by the people who made Persona 3 and Persona 4 (I never played either game personally, but I heard they're both really good games). I know their's an achievement guide on this site already, but I wanted to include my own guide into the mix, just in case the one that's shown already isn't enough for you guys. Other than that, I can't think of much to say about this game and I know you guy probably don't like long Intros anyway, so I'll get on with the guide already. Warring: This guide can and will contain spoilers. I will do my best to not spoil stuff from the game, but sometimes it just can not be helped, so read at your own risk. ****************************************************************************** | Stage 3: Achievement/Trophy Overview | ****************************************************************************** Achievement difficulty (on a scale of 1 through 5, 5 being the hardest): 2.5 for 635G for Xbox and 41 Trophies for PS3 (based on personal experience) 4.5 for full 1000G and 50 Trophies with video walkthroughs 5 for full 1000G and 50 Trophies without video walkthroughs Number of Achievements/Trophies: 50 Least amount of playthroughs to get all Achievements/Trophies: Story Mode: 1 (3 suggested) Babel Mode: 1 Rapunzel Mini-Game: 2 (or 128 Stages) Total: 4 (7 suggested) Number of Missable Achievements/Trophies: 11 Details: This game is quite hard to 100%, but I'll swear up and down that you'll 100% this eventually. I read on PS3trophies.org that story mode can be beaten in one playthrough if you were as neutral as possible and save your game on Day 5 when you start deciding what endings you are going for. Where on Day 5 is not exactly clear to me, because for all I know it could be refering to either saving on the nightmare stages (like after 5-1) or in the Stray Sheep after you beat the nightmare stages. Even if I did know for sure, beating the game in one playthrough would basicly require you to playthrough the game on Hard, and I don't exactly recomend this course of action when selecting your difficulty at the starting gate. Because of this, 3 playthroughs are suggested, but like I said, you could end up beating story mode in 1 playthrough. If your going to try to beat story mode in one playthough, I would highly suggest playing on Normal first, then switch on over to Hard once you decide you want to go for "The Golden Child" through the in-game options menu. For Babel Mode, you need to at least get a Gold Trophy on either Normal or Hard in order to unlock it. Because of this, your starting difficulty should at least be on Normal. As for Babel Mode itself, you have to make it up to the top of each of the four Babel Stairs this game has (the names of which I will not spoil just yet). However, due to a bug in the last one you unlock, it's impossible to beat it while doing it solo (well, in the US version anyway). Thankfully, Babel Mode can be played in Pairs (co-op/2 Player mode) and the last stage in Pairs still works just fine, so it's not glitched completely. And Finally we have the Rapunzel Mini-Game. This Mini-Game can be played at anytime during the Golden Playhouse while running around in the Stray Sheep Bar. Intially, they're 64 stages and you get 3 tries per day. Once you beat Rapunzel's 64 stages (not 100% sure if you need to get the True ending for it or not), you'll then be given a code to access the other 64 stages (thus, 2 Playthroughs (or 128 Stages) for this mini-game). As for the 3 tries per day rule, once you have beaten the game for the first time, 3 tries turns into Unlimited tries (or Free Play if you will). I'm not sure if you need to get the True ending for the extra 64 stages as well to get the final Rapunzel achievement/trophy as well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Stage 4: The Game's Achievements/Trophies and How to unlock them - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is the meat of this guide. Here, I'm going to seperate the achievements/trophies into groups. Here are the groups of achievements/trophies. 1. The Golden Playhouse (Story Mode) 2. The Game's Endings 3. Babel Mode 4. Rapunzel Mini-Game 5. Miscellaneous Achievements/Trophies I will go in order of how I number them, starting with The Golden Playhouse. The Golden Playhouse (Story Mode) This group of achievements/tropies are for the Golden Playhouse and others related to it. Unless marked with an "*", these achievements/trophies can't be missed, because they're part of the story. If your having trouble with nightmare stages, be it on Normal or Hard, you can refer to this site for various video walkthroughs, just click the stage area your having trouble on. This was made by the Catherine Wiki. http://catherinethegame.wikia.com/wiki/Walkthrough:Overview A. The Nightmares Have Just Begun Description: Conquer Stage 1. Gamerscore: 5 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You get this when you beat the Underground Cemertary Stage 1-1 in the nightmare stages. Note: This is the only non-secret story-related achievement/trophy in the game. B. Push It to the Limit!* Description: Push 5 blocks at once. (Golden Playhouse) Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You need to arange 5 normal blocks so you can push them. This can be done on all of the nightmare stages pretty much. C. Have an Ice Day* Description: Slide an Ice Block 5 or more blocks. (Golden Playhouse) Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You need to make an Ice block slide at least 5 blocks before it reaches the edge. You'll start seeing these in Quadrangle (Stage 5) and as far as I know his is the only stage you see them in (well, you do see them in stage 9, but I'm not going to count that stage, because it's appearence is way too random). Here's a Youtube video for an easy spot to do this in. The video takes place on 5-2 on Normal and was made by technole of Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=vuACmsuruvc D. Bomberlamb* Description: Hit 15 blocks with a single explosion. (Golden Playhouse) Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: For this one, you need to make it so an exploding block hit 15 other blocks. You start seeing these in Clock Tower (Stage 6). This will most likely come naturally as you go through 6-2 if your playing on Normal, but if for some reason it doesn't, here's a YouTube Video below. This video was done on 6-2 on Normal and was made by technole of Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=tsucC953JS0#! F. Take Your Time* Description: Move a Dark Block 10 times in a row. (Golden Playhouse) Gamerscore: 30 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: You need to move a Dark Block 10 times in a row for this one. Any stage with these blocks will work here. E. I Can Fly!* Description: Jump on a Spring Block 3 times in a row. (Golden Playhouse) Gamerscore: 30 Trophy Color: Sliver Guide: You need to Jump on a Spring Block 3 times in a row for this one. You'll start seeing these on Quadrangle (Stage 5). Here's a Youtube video on how to do this. This video was done on 5-1 and was made by technole of Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=1ydGiKY9BoQ G. Babel's Calling* Description: Unlock the Altar by earning 1 Gold Prize on Normal or Hard. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Self-Explanatory, you just need to earn 1 Gold Prize on any of the difficulties mentioned. You can easily do this in the Underground Cemetery (Stage 1-1). This can be missed if you don't at least play on Normal and/or you don't get a Gold Prize at all during the game, but that's not likely. H. 3-Star Man* Description: Unlock Menhir by earning 3 Gold Prizes on Normal or Hard. Gamerscore: 15 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Babel's Calling, but this time you earn 3 Gold Prizes instead of 1. I. 5-Star Man* Description: Unlock the Obelisk by earning 5 Gold Prizes on Normal or Hard. Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: Refer to Babel's Calling and/or 3-Star Man, but this time you earn 5 Gold Prizes instead of 1 or 3. J. The Great Escape Description: Conquer Stage 2. Gamerscore: 5 Trophy Color: Sliver Guide: You get this when you beat the Prison of Despair Stage 2-3 in the nightmare stages. K. Let My Sheep Go Description: Conquer Stage 3. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You get this when you beat the Torture Chamber Stage 3-3 in the nightmare stages. L. No One Expects the... Description: Conquer Stage 4. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You get this when you beat the Inquisition Stage 4-2 in the nightmare stages. M. Crossing the Courtyard Description: Conquer Stage 5. Gamerscore: 15 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You get this when you beat the Quadrangle Stage 5-3 in the nightmare stages. N. What Time is It? Description: Conquer Stage 6. Gamerscore: 15 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You get this when you beat the Clock Tower Stage 6-4 in the nightmare stages. O. Path to the Altar Description: Conquer Stage 7. Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You get this when you beat the Spiral Corridor Stage 7-5 in the nightmare stages. P. Making Legends Description: Conquer Stage 8. Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: You get this when you beat the The Cathedral Stage 8-1 in the nightmare stages. Q. True Freedom! Description: Conquer Stage 9. Gamerscore: 30 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: You get this when you beat The Empireo Stage 9-6 in the nightmare stages. R. Taking on the Gods* Description: Unlock Axis Mundi by earning all Gold Prizes on Normal or Hard. Gamerscore: 30 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: Refer to Babel's Calling, 3-Star Man and/or 5-Star Man, but this time you earn all of Gold Prizes instead of 1, 3 or 5. If your playing this game on Hard, you'll unlock this at the same time as "The Golden Child". S. The Golden Child* Description: Earn Gold Prizes on all Hard difficulty stages. Gamerscore: 100 Trophy Color: Gold Guide: Refer to Babel's Calling, 3-Star Man, 5-Star Man and/or Taking on the Gods, but this time you earn all of Gold Prizes instead of 1, 3 or 5 and it has to be on Hard. If you've been playing the game on this difficulty, you'll unlock this at the same time as "Taking on the Gods". The Game's Endings This group of achievements/trophies talk about the game's endings like the group name suggests. This game has 8 different endings, but you can get them all in 1 playthrough of story mode if you know where and when to save. There are 3 different types of endings: The Lover endings (Law), The Cheater endings (Chaos), and the Freedom endings (Neutral). Each type of ending has 3 different endings tied to them (except for the Freedom endings which has 2). You generally want to make choices that make your Karma meter lean more towards Chaos for the Cheater endings, or Law for the Lover endings. For the True Freedom ending, you can't make your Karma meter lean towards Chaos nor Law. What type of ending you get and rather it's a Bad (Lover/Cheater endings only), Normal or True ending depends on the choices you make as you go through game and what Landing confessional choices you make in The Empireo nightmare stages. There are 4 questions that determine the game's endings. The 1st one effects nothing, the 2nd and 3rd ones determine what the 4th question is, and the last one decides your ending (1 question will take you to another one if you don't answer "Yes" for that question though). T. Nighty Night Description: View the bad Lover ending. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This is Katherine's bad lover path, and it'll require the karma meter to be leaning heavily to the left which is the Chaos side. What basicly happends here is that Vincent trys to convince Katherine that Catherine is not real and he never actually cheated on her, but she still leaves him anyway. This ending can be achieved in one of two Q&A paths: A. Q1 (Would you risk everything to get your lover back) - Your Choice Q2 (Do you wish for a peaceful life?) - Yes Q3 (Do you wish for the excitement of chaos?) - Yes Q4 (Which of these do you truly wish for?) - Peaceful days B. Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - Yes Q3 - No Q4 (Do you still have a longing for chaos?) - No I personally went with the Q&A path B for this one. U. Hit the Road, Vincent Description: View the bad Cheater ending. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This is Catherine's bad Cheater path, and it'll require the karma meter to be leaning heavily to the Right which is the Law side. What basicly happends here is that Vincent trys to get Catherine to marry him, but she turns him down. This ending can be achieved in one of two Q&A paths: A. Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - Yes Q3 - Yes Q4 - Chaotic Excitement B. Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - No Q3 - Yes Q4 (Do you still have any longing for peace?) - No I personally went with the Q&A path B for this one. V. Just Like Old Times Description: View the normal Lover ending. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This is Katherine's normal lover path, and it'll require the karma meter to be leaning heavily to the right which is the Law side. What basicly happends here is that Vincent manages to convince Katherine that Catherine is not real and he never actually cheated on her with the help of his friends. Vincent and Katherine then go on to plan the wedding as if the game never happend. This ending can be achieved in one of three Q&A paths: A. Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - Yes Q3 - Yes Q4 - Peaceful days B. Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - No Q3 - Yes Q4 - Yes C. Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - Yes Q3 - No Q4 (Are you prepared to live in peace, forever?) - Not really I personally went with the Q&A path B for this one. W. Sleepless Nights Description: View the normal Cheater ending. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This is Catherine's normal Cheater path, and it'll require the karma meter to be leaning heavily to the Left which is the Chaos side. What basicly happends here is that Vincent manages to get Catherine to marry him. Catherine's true father, Nergal shows up and trys to put a stop to it, but Catherine insists on marrying him. Catherine then transports Vincent to the underworld where they live out there lives. This ending can be achieved in one of three Q&A paths: A. Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - Yes Q3 - Yes Q4 - Chaotic Excitement B. Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - Yes Q3 - No Q4 - Yes C. Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - No Q3 - Yes Q4 (Are you prepared to live the rest of your life in the excitement you wished for?) - No I personally went with the Q&A path C for this one. X. Whatever, Buddy Description: View the normal Freedom ending. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This is normal freedom path, where Vincent doesn't want to hook up with Katherine nor Catherine and the karma meter can be leaning to either the left or right sides. What basicly happends here is that Vincent tells Muton that he doesn't want either girl and wants to remain single. Shocked by the turn of events, Muton then apologizes to Vincent for making go through everything that happend in the game. Vincent then borrows some money from Muton so he can bet on a wrestling match, but ends up losing. This ending can only be achieved through this Q&A path: Q1 - Your choice Q2 - No Q3 - No Q4 (If "the truth" causes you to be alone, would you still search for it?) - Yes Note: If you say "No" to this question, you'll then be asked "Which of these do you truly wish for?" Y. Starting a New Life Description: View the true Lover ending. Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Sliver Guide: This is Katherine's true lover path, and it'll require the karma meter to be maxed out to the right which is the Law side. What basicly happends here is the same as normal Lover ending, but this time Vincent and Katherine actually get married. This ending can only be achieved through this Q&A path: Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - Yes Q3 - No Q4 - I'm ready Z. Lord of the Night Description: View the true Cheater ending. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This is Catherine's true Cheater path, and it'll require the karma meter to be maxed out to the Left which is the Chaos side. What basicly happends here is the same as the normal cheater ending, but this time Vincent becomes the King of the Underworld. This ending can only be achieved through this Q&A path: Q1 - Your Choice Q2 - No Q3 - Yes Q4 - Yes AA. A Life Without Regrets... Description: View the true Freedom ending. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This is basicly the same path as the normal freedom one, but your karma meter can't be either to the left nor to the right to get this ending. What basicly happends here is the same as the normal Freedom ending, but Vincent actually wins the bet this time. Vincent then uses the money to grab a seat on the tourist space shuttle and (I assume) lives the rest of his days in a space home. The Q&A path for this ending is the same as the normal Freedom ending, but I'll put it up again anyway. Q1 - Your choice Q2 - No Q3 - No Q4 - Yes Babel Mode This mode unlocks itself when you get at least 1 gold trophy in the nightmare stages on either Normal or Hard. This mode has four different levels each with their own achievment/trophy for beating them: Altar, Menhir, Obelisk and Axis Mundi. This mode can be played by yourself, or while playing in pairs (2 player mode). I would suggest trying to play the stages by yourself, but if your really stuggling, it's easier to play this mode in pairs due to the reduced number of steps you have climb (even if your playing by yourself with 2 controlers). This mode's block placement is randomized each time you play this mode, so it's really hard to come up with strategies for various levels of Babel. I will include video links for various stages so you get the general idea of what to expect (along with the uploader of the video of course). Before attempting this mode however, you'll want to play through the nightmare stages on Hard, so you can prepair yourself for this mode. The reason for this is because you don't get to use the Undo command (Back on Xbox 360 and Select on PS3) in this mode, and Hard mode lacks this ability to use it as well. Glitch Warring: While the achievement/trophy for beating this stage isn't glitched, Axis Mundi has a bad habbit of kicking it up to level 2 after you climb 1 or 2 steps. Because of this, the stage is unbeatable at this time. You can still beat this stage if you do pairs, so Axis Mundi is not glitched completely. This only applies to the North American version of this game (as far as I know anyway). AB. Altar Conquered! Description: Complete Stage 1 of Babel. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This stage consists of mostly Normal and Cracked blocks with some Heavy blocks placed in the mix. If your doing this stage solo, you need to climb 150 steps to beat this stage. If your doing this stage in pairs however, then you need to climb 102 steps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CB3SqPGyN5k The video was made by MasterLL of Youtube. Note: Assumes that you are playing the PS3 US version of the game. AC. Menhir Conquered! Description: Complete Stage 2 of Babel. Gamerscore: 15 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This stage has the same three blocks from Altar with Trap blocks that show up in the middle of the tower. If your doing this stage solo, you need to climb 190 steps to beat this stage. If your doing this stage in pairs however, then you need to climb 130 steps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSVNFaY4NEc This video was made by kormaruR of Youtube. Note: Assumes that you are playing the PS3 Japan version of the game. AD. Obelisk Conquered! Description: Complete Stage 3 of Babel. Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This stage introduces the Ice, Bomb and Mystery Blocks and has the same three blocks from Altar and the Trap block from Menhir and throws in the Monster blocks when you get to the middle of the tower. If your doing this stage solo, you need to climb 240 steps to beat this stage. If your doing this stage in pairs however, then you need to climb 154 steps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wVQsN4_MuQ&feature=player_embedded This video was made by rovingleaves of Youtube. Note: Assumes that you are playing the PS3 Japan version of the game. AE. A God is Born! Description: Conquer the final stage of Babel. Gamerscore: 100 Trophy Color: Gold Guide: The final stage the description refering to is Axis Mundi. This stage has only the the Normal and Cracked blocks from Altar. However, this stage also includes the Black Hole blocks as well. If your doing this stage in pairs you need to climb 168 steps. Doing this stage solo is not possible at this time due to the glitch mentioned eariler (US version only). If the glitch was non-exsitent (US version only), gets a patch to correct this (again, US version only) or if you playing this game in a different country, you would've had to climb 300 steps. Note: This is the only secret achievement/trophy in this group of achievements/trophies. Also, I haven't inclueded a video for this stage on purpose, because as mentioned before, doing this stage solo is not possible at this time for those playing the US version of this game. Rapunzel Mini-Game You can play this mini-game at any time during your playthroughs of the Golden Playhouse (Story Mode) while your at the Stray Sheep (the game's Hub World outside the nightmares) starting from Day 3. This mini-game is basicly the same as the nightmare stages except for one difference: You have a move limit instead of a time limit. What I mean by it is that in the nightmare stages blocks will gradually fall and you will slowly have less room to work with. This doesn't happend in the Rapunzel mini-game, but you only get so many moves like 60 or 120 (just examples, actual move limit varies). This group has three achievements for them, one for beating the 1st 64 stages, one for using the code to do the 1st extra stage, and one more for beating all of the extra stages. Note: What I mean by "1st 64 stages", "using the code" and "beating all of the extra stages" is that there's a total of 128 stages in the Rapunzel mini-game. The first 64 can be played right out of the starting gate (one at a time), and you get a code for beating stage 64 to access the extra 64 stages. You do get 3 trys per day until your final day during your first playthrough, but after you beat the game for the first time, you get basicly unlimited tries for all save files in the game. I think it only applies to the difficulty option you were playing on at the time, but the mini-game will remember what stage you were on when you stopped playing it, so don't worry about losing your save progress on the mini-game too much. I'm not 100% sure on this, but there are the Rosaires hidden in stages 52, 56, 60 and 64, and I think you need to grab them in the mentioned stages to get the code for the extra 64 stages. I also think that you need to get the Rosaires in the extra stages as well to get the final achievement/trophy for this group of achievements/trophies. So basicly, I think you need to see the True ending to the Rapunzel mini-game two times, one in normal mode and one in extra mode. I could be wrong though on all accounts though. If at any point you are having trouble with Rapunzel, here's a link to a playlist of video walkthroughs for all 128 stages. The playlist was created by XCVii007r1 of Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5775F9FDCBD08849& Note: The videos in the playlist assume that your playing the Xbox 360 Japan version of the game. AF. Past a Heap of Puzzles Description: Beat Stage 64 of Rapunzel. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You get this when you beat Stage 64 of the Rapunzel mini-game. You'll get a code before it unlocks though. I know I said this before, but I think you need to collect Rosaires in stages 52, 56, 60 and 64 and see the True ending for the normal Rapunzel mode in order to get the code and, thus unlock this achievement/trophy though. I got the True ending for the normal stages, but I'm not sure if you can get away with getting the bad ending as well. Note: This is the only non-secret achievement/trophy in this group of achievements/trophies. AG. Mystery Within a Puzzle Description: Uncover the truth behind Rapunzel. Gamerscore: 20 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You get this when you start the extra stages of Rapunzel. You have to enter a code the game gives you for beating the first 64 stages of Rapunzel. I will tell you right now that the code goes as follows: Up, Down x2, Up x3, Down x4, Right Like I said though, you need to beat the first 64 stages in order for the code to work. After you enter the code and press play, start up Extra stage 1 and it'll unlock after the intro sequence for extra Rapunzel mode. Make sure you enter the code when the heart is on top of the word Rapunzel. AH. Legendary Prince Description: Hear Rapunzel's sad song. Gamerscore: 30 Trophy Color: Silver Guide: You'll unlock this when you beat extra stage 64 of Rapunzel. Again, I'm not sure if you need to collect the Rosaires in stages 52, 56, 60 and 64 in the extra Rapunzel mode as well as the normal stages or if you can get the bad ending for one or both types of Rapunzel stages and still unlock this. Miscellaneous Achievements/Trophies This group of achievements/trophies are here because I either not sure where else they are suppose to go, or are not related to any of the achievement/trophy groups mentioned above. AI. Dreams Come True Description: View all of the endings. Gamerscore: 100 Trophy Color: Gold Guide: As mentioned before, there are 8 endings in all, two of which are bad, and the rest being normal or true. Like I said, this unlocks when you view the last of the game's endings, along with the ending achievement/trophy you didn't unlock at that point of time. AJ. Read All About It! Description: Get Justin out of his jam. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Sliver Guide: You need to make sure Justin makes to the final day alive. What I mean by this is that, is it possible for Justin to get killed off if you at least talk to him. This applies to Todd, Archie, Daniel and Morgan as well. You have to make choices Justin throws you in a certain way. In the Landings (break/safe areas), Justin will appear as "Sheep with Glasses". Here's all of conversations you have to make with him at various times and places when he actually shows up. 2-1 - He has no choices this time, just talk to him. 2-2 - Again, just talk to him. Day 2 - ...Hm? Have I met you somewhere before? - Maybe... 3-1 - Your climbing was quite innovative. It's the truth. - I'll join you. 3-2 - I get the feeling something big's coming up... Want to trade techniques? - I'll join you. Day 3 - Which do you think are more pitiful: men, or women? - Men, of course. 4-1 - Just talk to him. Day 4 - Again, just talk to him. 5-1 - Today's layout is nasty... There might be special techniques. - Teach me a technique! 5-2 - No choices here, just talk to him. Day 5 - ...She took her own life after that. It's the truth. - It's not your fault. Note: I have read that "What's done is done." also works here, but I'm not 100% sure on that one. 6-1 - Let's talk about our techniques. We've all got to keep climbing. - Let's do it. 6-2 - But just so you know, 40% of women cheat. It's the truth. - That's a lot! 6-3 - Just Talk to him, that's all. Day 6 - And she's not going to tell him that he isn't... It's the truth. - Is there a reason? 7-1 - ...Let's talk about techniques. I feel like entrusting you with them. - Let's work together. 7-2 - Just talk to him. 7-3 - Again, just talk to him. Day 8 - Talk to him for the achievement/trophy. AK. A New Look Description: Help Todd out of his trouble. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: You need to make sure Todd makes to the final day alive. You have to make choices Todd throws you in a certain way. In the Landings, Todd will appear as "Sheep with Regent Hair". Here's all of conversations you have to make with him at various times and places when he actually shows up. 2-1a - You want me to teach you the technique I found? - Yes! Tell Me! 2-1b - How was that? Betcha didn't know. - I didn't know... 2-2a - You survived because of the techniques I found, huh? - Teach me something else! 2-2b - You knew that!? - No... Day 2 - Have we met? - Maybe... 3-1 - Ooh, I've got a technique for you. - Please tell me. 3-2 - No choices (finally), just talk to him. Day 3 - Do you know what you've got to have to be a real man? - Lots of money. 4-1 - Just talk to him. While it is possible to hit 20 replied texts before Day 8 even comes along, it only unlocks when Day 8 ends. Later on during the game, the text messages you get from Catherine will end up disappearing for some unknown reason. Don't have a panic attack, the texts you get from her will still count towards this achievement/trophy. AR. Welcome to the Colosseum Description: Unlock the Colosseum mode. Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Bronze Guide: This one is actually story-related, as it unlocks when you see one of the game's endings. Because of this, it can't be missed. Cheers To You! Xbox 360 Description: Unlock all other Achievements! PS3 Description: Earn all other Trophies! Gamerscore: 10 Trophy Color: Platinum Guide: I had the Xbox 360 version of this game at the time of writing this, and I don't see why the people who made this decided it was a good idea to include a Platinum trophy style achievement if it's not going to be worth 0 points. Anyway, this unlocks when you got all the other 49 achievements/trophies. I only have 2 suggetions here: 1. Refer to all the other 49 achievements/trophies because as mention before, it unlocks when you have all of those. 2. When you unlock this achievement/trophy, give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy your 1000 Gamerscore (or all the trophies you work so hard to get if your playing the PS3 version), because you just beat Catherine. ============================================================================== | Stage 5: How to Contact me | ============================================================================== You have 2 Main ways of contacting me: 1. Send me a E-mail 2. Send me a message on my Gamertag on X-Box Live My E-mail address sshadowjohn91(at)yahoo(dot)com. My Gamertag is Gamer364. This can be done only through a text message. E-mail or Message me if you: A. See a spelling error: I may have made spelling errors as I was writing this. B. Have a question that needs asking: You may have something that needs clearing up or something to that affect. C. Have a correction to make: I'm not 100% sure on some of the stuff mentioned though out the guide. D. Want to use my guide on your website: I personally have no problem letting you use my guide on your website, as long as you ask me first, and you give me credit for it. E. Think you see someone using my guide without permission: I don't like it when people steal my stuff (at least, not without asking me first). I don't do it to other people (at least without giving other people credit for the idea), so why do it to me anyway? F. Have something to add-on to this or that/there's something I forgot to include: If there something you think I should have included, but I didn't, you are encouraged to send me an Email for this or that. Do note that if you do decide you want to message me, make sure if the topic is about Catherine. As of right now the only sites that have permission to use my guide: A. GameFAQs (I have an ancount with them, so they don't really need my permission.) B. Neoseeker (The owner got permission in advanced) C. Supercheats (The owner got permission in advanced) More to come (maybe). Don't even think about email me if you are going to send me: A. Hate Mail B. Spam C. Name Calling mail D. Barelly readable/Unreadable mail E. Mail with mostly creative words (if you get my drift) Letter A I take offence to, because I don't send hate mail to no one. I have a Spam safeguard with yahoo, and it'll tell me if I have spam or not with Letter B. Also, if I think your trying sending me spam on Xbox Live, don't think I won't wirte a complant about you, and/or tell Microsoft on you. With letter C, I also take offence, because I get name called in school. Letter D, If your sending me an E-mail, have spell check avaiable to you and your not sure of your spelling, then why not use it? Letter E, Unless I messed up that badly, there's really no reason for that anyway. All of these things can and will make me think your a bad person, when in reality your probably not. All in all, just don't do it. Follow these rules, and if you add-on and/or correct something, I'll give you credit for it. Note: Don't get discouraged if I don't answer you right away. Sometimes, I might be on the Computer and sometimes I'll be on Xbox Live. Your best bet is to send both an E-mail and an Xbox Live message. That way if I don't get one of your messages, I'll still be able to get the other message. Even then, I might still not get your message right away. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Stage 6: Legal Junk, Special Thanks and Other Guides I've Done | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Legal Junk This guide is copyrighted and writen by me.
