How do you get pass it anyway? You stay downstairs taking cover, the other fool flushes you out with Molotovs eventually (Also I think this is bugged, even if the fire is not touching me, it'll still kill me) and if I go to Spoiler: to kill the guys coming in from there, guys from the side where the molotovs are coming from will kill me.

It is very tough.

What I did was obviously deal with the ones outside first as you found out.

Go into the factory, go straight to the right and cover bottom right area, you can shoot at a lot of them and they are sorta out of reach to throw molotov's.

Once most are down, head up the stairs, to finish off the last 2 on the far top right and of course Derek himself, he takes a few shots to get down, but once you get to the top you can use Molotov's yourself to give him a taste of his own medicine if you wish

i dont know if the trainer is failing at keeping you alive in this mission but i spent a couple days and alot of time and reversing to improve the option. you should be impervious to almost anything with the new trainer when it gets posted. i stood in front of WWII .50 cal weapon fire, grenades, exploding vehicles, tommy guns, and rapid fire SHOTGUN blasts (with rapid fire option ON) by multiple cops surrounding me with no deaths. i couldn't find anything that could kill me any longer. pwizard will post it shortly. you might have to watch the main thread to see when it is posted.

I killed that molotov guy with a nice crack shot from my machine gun but that was when I used the original trainer with only the ammo option enabled.

Cal I did not use the trainer since this is my first playthrough, sorry I forgot to mention.

Though I did try it once for money, and I was able to activate the trainer, but as soon as I pressed the option key, the game closed.

PS: I have gotten through it.
