I think I'm going to do a brief over view of several sub-categories on the subject since this is my first speech. If I make a theme of this maybe I'll go into more detail, but i doubt this is gonna fly well more then once.

As for the video games speech, you could something along the lines of how certain games affect kids. In my Psych class today, we were talking about how violent video games may encourage kids do actually commit the crimes, whereas some kids have the common sense to deviate what is real, and what is just a video game.

No wait, do something that involves throwing pig guts and/or candy at the class. People love active learning.
