I saw on the character level up page within the game that your supposed to get a specialization point at lv 7 and lv 14, my character is curretly lv 12 and i didnt get a point for that. I am just wondering if there is something special you have to do to get it, or if it was caused by the trainer i was using which i used the level up option on it.

I don't believe the trainer causes it, cause I have it activated, occasionally use the add experience. option, and I did get my Specialization point on level 7 and 14. No there is nothing special you need to do about it, once you level up from level 6 to 7 (and 13 to 14), you click on the + icon, and to the right there's the 4 specializations (6 within Awakening expansion) and you can pick between then, though you need to unlock some of them if not all of them.

You said you were 12, make sure you don't have a specialization already...

No i dont have a specialization yet, and i dont have any points for it either. I cant remember it i used the level up cheat to get to lv 7 or not, i did that a few months ago when i first got the game and then i stopped playing it for a while. I dont think i had any specializations unlocked at lv 7 so that may be it, but i dont know. All i know is that i now have 2 specializations unlocked and i cant pick either of them. My secondary characters each have a specialization on them that they come with, for example morrigan has shapeshifter, so i can understand them not having a point, but my main character doesnt.

Is it possible to cheat and add a point somehow? Edit the save or something? I dont really want to have to restart just to try and get the specialization point that i was supposed to get anyway.

I found a mod to fix this issue so it doesnt matter any more. But still trying to fix the issue with characters being constantly affected by stuns and other effects.

Care to share that mod? bc I've been having the same problem, mostly because after level 7 i used the "+" level up option instead of just add xp. thusly leaving me with only 1 specialization.

Forgot all about this post, did a google search after I posted and found Dragonagenexus. I have so many mods on right now, it hardly looks anything like vanilla anymore lol.

Thank you for replying in any case.
