Why not try installing on some other system? If you succeed there, just copy the game files into a removal storage drive and move it to your current system.

u mean, copy the game files to a cd or dvd then move it on my vista. If so, then how do i move files of doom 3 that gets associated in windows folder ?. thanks.

Well you can even use a USB flash drive for that.

Yes that's what I mean. Copy the whole doom 3 folder from Program Files or from wherever you have installed the game.

And yes it may ask you for a CD key when you run the game, cause it will be absent on your current system, so just enter your cd key.

thanks a million for this brilliant idea HONEST........ but after applying the patch 1.3.1, i cannot access the in-game console for cheat and there seems to be no trainer for 1.3.1 present here. Any idea on how to apply cheats for single player ??...... Thanks.

through all the levels in my doom 3, i will at least use 1 cheat. so entering cheats is no problem for me!! but it may take a few seconds to show to console(unless you are fast enough). while playing the game, or while in the pause or game menu, press these corresponding keys: "crtl+alt+~"(and don't type the two( " )!!
