Our Puzzle Quest 2 Trainer is now available for version 1.0.1070 and supports RETAIL.
Our Puzzle Quest 2 message board is available to provide feedback on our trainers or cheats.
You guys always have any game worth it's salt, and Puzzle Quest 2 is really fun. Just really repetitive fast, so hoping to use a trainer to mix things up or at least get past the boring part.

We tried for two days and could not isolate a reliable way to make the trainer work consistently. Even the savegames are hash-protected and the game detects if they are modified.

Not even the procedure to "capture player data" used in Galactrix?

In the Puzzle Quest 2 folder, there is an Assets.zip file. Assets.zip contains LUA files that can be edited.
For example...
In Assets\Scripts\Quests, open the Q001.lua file. This contains the details of the first fight against the Rat Swarm.
Look for...
name = "ActionGiveGold", show = "gain", gold = 50,
name = "ActionGiveExperience", show = "gain", experience = 300,
Change the values of gold and experience. I did 500,000 gold and 300,000 experience. Save the changes, re-zip if you extracted the files. Start the game, beat the rats, turn in quest and receive the rewards you set.
I know this little cheat doesn't match the power of a trainer, but it's something to give you a little boost.

I managed to get max gold and max exp (level) using CoSMOS without a glitch.
The gold was worth it but not the exp, coz the enemies raised up in level and get stronger as well.
However, CE was useless for anything in-battle.
I find it strange that this game is harder to hack than most high-production titles out there.

Thanks for the reason. I'm glad it was a technical one.
