I bought the digital download version off of the Battle.net website. Any chance of a trainer for that version? I tried to use the retail trainer and got a "Trainer on/off" bug. The voice just repeats "Trainer on", "Trainer off" over and over.

I got mine via retail, so don't know if this will remedy your situation.
First, generate an offline key for your trainer after making sure you have the absolute latest version of the trainer for 1.02 of the game. I've been having occasional difficulty verifying my trainer on-line, and that's caused a few crashes.
Go here and download the offline code generation tool - www.cheathappens.com/trainer_troubleshooting.asp
Follow all steps, and place the key file in the same folder as your trainer.
Also, make sure to run both the game and trainer as an admin if running under Vista or Win7 just to be sure there are no elevation issues.

Trainer works fine for ALL VERSIONS, regardless of where purchased. Just make sure trainer version matches game version.

I will double check. Also, I added the trainer to the ignore list for my AV. I use Avast. I will try it now, and post an update with the result.
Update: Did not work. Still spaming the "on/off" sound. I checked the version, it matches.

You need to upgrade your audio drivers to their latest version. You also need to update your audio codecs with this program (CCCP):

Curious. I use CCCP, and I use motherboard sound. I don't think there's an update, but I will certainly try. Also, isn't there a loging tool you use when you develop these trainers? Something to log it's behavior when it's running? I'd love to have something like that right now so I could give you more information.
Update: Alright, updated everything. Sound and CCCP were both up to date. Same problem.

Uninstall your AV completely, along with any firewall software you have. Something on your machine is blocking or interfering with the trainer trying to write to the game.
