After having a browse over all the FAQ'a and tutorials etc for creating your own, I looked at the 'become an author' page and it seems to be for creating (or applying) to create a new account.

Is there not a way I can simply apply to become an author with my current login?

Write a guide/walktrough for starters.

Well duh, you don't say.

What I mean is if I want to apply to be an author firstly how do I go about upgrading this account rather than having to register for a new author account, and secondly whether or not I can even upload a guide as a regular member.

You upload as a regular member and get promoted to an author. Same log in and whatnot.

How exactly do I upload a guide as a regular member? All I can find are links to registering as an author :/

Unless they've changed it, it's done here (I think).

Honestly, it's a while since I've tried submitting, but I think it's done this way.

I thought that was just for submitting cheats? Mine's a guide for getting trainers to run alongside AV happily without issues, so not sure which category i'd even upload it to?
