Generation one and two were the best. They ruined Pokemon with the other 3. But HeartGold and SoulSilver were somewhat good.

Wow I never knew Pokemon got so complicated.

Solrock and Lunatone are common pokemon resembling a sun and a moon. I I would say there are 36 "Legendaries" there.

Another look showed one of those to be arcanine. So I am counting 35

They really should've stopped after Lugia, Maril and Togepi were added (If I recall correctly, Ash saw Ho-oh in the first episode)

The anime writers had a cast of well over 150 to work with, the episodes didn't need however many new Pokemon. Nor did the games, really. Just bring out new regions, maybe 10 new evolutions or something. Would've worked.

The new Pokemon look stupid anyway.

Wait a sec..in the picture I did see Solrock and Lunatone and they're not legendary, or are they ? -___-

I'm going to say what most outsiders in my position would say here, I smell a Cash cow.

If them making 150 new pokemon every three years is what it takes to make a new update in the series, I'm down.

The game's totally a cash cow franchise, but I still enjoy the games so I don't think they should just stop or whatever.

Silent Death, I recounted them all just for you and even put a little number on them to make sure I was correct. Link 37 pokemon is the final count.

Airhead, if you read my first post, you'll see that I've already mentioned that Arcanine, Solrock, and Lunatone are not legendaries.

Latiosmaster, I completely agree. The game, just like any other, needs updates. And adding more pokemon is a perfect way of adding more content. But adding more "unstoppable" pokemon is not the way. The system isn't going to be perfect until there is much more pokemon. The games will get really fun when there's about 2000 pokemon to choose from. You'll never know what you're going to battle next. It's not going to work well until there's a lot of pokemon.

And they seriously need to stop making more legendaries. I'm tired of people walking around saying they're the best just because they can throw a master ball at a Mewtwo. Annoying.
