So I've recently been adding alot of mods to DA, and I wonder if anyone had some really cool mods they'd like to share with me.
Please try and keep the file-size less than 10mb, because I'm on a limited internet cap here.

Your cap does certainly present some limitations. Ouch! The best mods, in my opinion, improve the textures and environment of the game. However, one of these mods alone is 1.3 GB (JB Textures)! Still, there are many that meet your criteria. From the many that I have tried... and I have tried a great deal of them... here are a few that met my standards and fit your need.

Circles Be Gone (aka Personal Annoyance Remover): 6.35 MB. This mod removes a few little things in the game, such as the bright circles around the PC's, that many find to be a nuisance.
Deathblows: 912 bytes. Increases or decreases (depending on your preference) the likelihood that a kill will result in one of the dramatic slayings.
Nightmare Plus: 228 KB. Nightmare increases the virility of your opponents and creates a greater challenge... a must have for Cheat Happens members (again, IMO).
Lockbash: 112 KB. The lockbash mod enables you to break open any chest or door that could otherwise be picked open. This enables you to open most chests and doors early on in the game. The downside, lockbashing will generally destroy an item or two within the crate or chest.

There are a few to get you rolling. Hope some of them are worthwhile for you.

That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything.

    go here:
    www.dragonagenexus.com
and browse yourself to find what mods you want. that site is the dragon age mod capitol of the universe.

there is even a handy top 100 mod list. a lot of my favorite mods are either head morphs to make companions look better or weapon and armor mods which add special gear and a lot of these are tiny files. hope this helps!

Loot & Gamebalance Revision for Dragon Age: Origins:

This mod for Dragon Age: Origins changes the itemization of the game. It adds about 600 new balanced items and a fully configurable loot system to the game. All the new items were created using a pattern to ensure that everything is balanced and to make sure, that there are no overpowered item combinations when using the difficult default settings.

The new items are sold by various vendors in the world, but they can also be acquired by looting dead enemies or containers. Whenever you enter an area for the first time, the new loot system randomly places the new magic items and other goodies in all kinds of lootable objects. You can even edit the percent chances to see these items drop directly. You can tweak the loot system to your liking by setting over 30 different settings. With all the new loot, you will constantly be improving your equipment over the course of the game.

The new loot system and all other changes can easily be configured or disabled by running the setup wizard at any time, even after you installed the mod. You can configure almost everything yourself or install only parts of the mod like the items or the loot system.

The mod also allows you to enable some balance changes that increase the difficulty of the game. A few misc things like a modified Auto Loot which is compatible to this mod are included as well.

More detailed description and about 20 screenshots available at dragonagenexus.com: Link
