That's a hard question.
I'm always rereading my Bernard Cornwell books. He writes historical fiction adventureish novels. And he's got lots of different settings--Napoleonic Wars, 100 Years War, Ancient Britain, Saxon England, the US Civil War... Yeah, I guess Cornwell.
