How do I see other ending?

I saw the one that the Dark Ones got nuked and Artyom just sits in the other watching the boom.

i finish the game with that ending you talking about but please can you say what is 2nd ending?

Knock the laser designator off the tower.

on top of the tower that dark ones go inside your mind so how can i knock it down?

PS: Why the heck would Artyom want to do that? Do those "sights" on his mind make him do it or something?

The Dark Ones weren't in control when I did it. When they were chasing you in your mind, did you escape or did they get you?

I escaped, when Artyom finally came back to himself I interacted with the designator, and everything went boom, you could see the three missiles in the background and all.

Whenever they did get to me, I got Game Over and had to reload the game.

Ah, it's way more complex than I thought.
