yea..plenty of us having the same trouble. i've been advised by some to tackle ur enemies from as far away as possible and to keep ur self mobile. the Hammerhead is quite agile..atleast to me it seems that way.

That can be a pain. Move your hammerhead next to one of the generators and when you see the geth cannon lock on through the red lines on the ground move out of the targeted area as quick as you can. The cannon will destroy the shield for the generators. Destroy the generator, then rinse and repeat for the other generators. Shield for the cannon then comes down.

Yeah, I had this on my first go. I didn't know what to expect, the next thing I know my screen was filled with an explosion and I was thinking "What the **** just happened...?"

I got it first time the second go though (contradiction). Previous post was on the mark, but make sure you use the Boost to speed away from the targeted area - just moving normally isn't fast enough and you'll kaput. I found it easier to have the cannon destroy all of the shields first, then did a second round through the area actually destroying the generators. The cannon is somewhat slow moving, so if you're fast enough, you don't have to worry about the cannon locking on to you until you have to destroy it.

the mission at the Prothean ruins..wow that one kept me on my toes because of all the popping rocket bots. best thing about the Hammerhead is that it hovers..unlike the Mako. its easy once u get the hang of it...i kept my Hammerhead mobile..moving from side to side and kept firing away thanks to the UNL. ammo due to the CH trainer. its a fairly agile vehicle..never stayed in one place too long. i didn't get hit even once
