I am currently using Cheetah dvd burner, but when I try to burn a dvd it takes like 3-4 days. Is there anyway I can speed this up?

How much Memory are you trying to burn onto the disk? Maybe you should mess around with the quality of the audio/video. Maybe you should set the priority up to max, it just means it will use more CPU so your computer will run slower temporarily, but the DVD burns faster. They are just ideas from my DVD burning experience. I haven't used Cheetah before I'm using Nero right now, so sorry if this isn't any help.

Nero works pretty good. but i always keep the amount of data to be written slightly under the max limit allowed on a DVD..works for me. whenever i've gone to max limit..usually had problems with that.

"Cheeta DVD burner takes like 3-4 days"...Seems like the best example of a Paradox.

IMHO, I think there is something wrong with your application configuration or your DVD writer.

Try other DVD burning softwares like Nero, MagicISO, Roxio to confirm wheter its your software or hardware at fault.

Nero is the best and easiest burner IMO.

It's been a long time coming.

I had that problem with CloneDVD when I was backing up some home videos. I ended up cancelling the process and used Nero instead.
Trust is a fragile thing. Once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Those we're closest to can betray us,and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.

I would also recommend MagicISO, it has so many features! Combined with MagicDisc (DVD emulation software created by the same developer), it will be the most neede tool ever.
