I was thinking about it today.
In a major competition, the last time we beat a team around Germany's caliber in a major competition was 2002 against Argentina.
We ended up losing to Brazil later in the tournament, lost to France and Portugal at 2004, lost to Portugal in 2006 and were not at 2008.

I'd say that was probably the best England have played in the world cup for a long while and with Germany not looking too convincing after their loss I'm' backing England.
Elite He's been here for so long yet he's only made himself known once with Eliteitude...after that...not much else.
