Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor Message Board  

Please help! I have windows 7 and can`t load any savegames in COH 2.601! I have Opposing Fronts installed, as well as Tales of Valor, I like to play skirmish maps also, but whenever i save a game, I can`t load it anymore.. it just flashes me back to main screen of COH!!! And also when I use Mega Trainer 2.601 the trainer functions all work fine for my side, but the enemy stops producing and building.. for example..

I started a single-player skirmish map, with trainer on.. used some options, all was fine.. but there`s no enemy except two infantry squads on the map, when I reached their base their command truck was not even placed, nothing built etc..

Please help! I was playing on Win XP before, and everything was ok! Is this becouse of the Windows 7 or?

Modify the shortcut and have the game Run As Administrator.

Hello friend, no avail.. did all of that, tried everything I could think of.. but no luck! The game works ok, and when I save the game and try to load it later it starts loading with Opposing fronts screen in background, then it quickly changes the background picture to Company of Heroes style and exits to main screen, and it`s always like that! It came to my mind that it could be a problem with that "Games for windows" *hit.. I have Windows 7, and in "Games" folder it says that Company of Heroes version is installed, there is no mention of Opposing fronts.. and with that OF-COH quick screen change during loads it somehow smells that this could be the problem with these saves on Windows 7 OS! The saves are all stored in "My documents/Coh folder" but the game obviously can`t read them! Everything is run with admin privilages so that`s not it! I searched through all the internet and saw that alot of people have similiar or same problems, but can`t find the valid solution for this!!!

Me again, after I don`t know how many tries I`m still not able to load my game saves of COH under Windows 7 and now I`m really ****ed, I noticed that when I save a skirmish game under the name (for example) "TEST SAVE" in COH and then go to the COH savegames folder in my documents there is the other name of the savegame there - the full name of the skirmish map, and not the name I wrote in COH for the save. Why is this happening? Comm between COH & windows is broken maybe or what? Please help..
