What's the method on the 360?
I think this limit on cheats for single player by Rockstar is overkill and disappointing.

^^ That's silly.
One of the things that's so fun about these GTA style games is using some of the cheats. I think Rockstar needs to patch this punishing limitation out and if they ever bring this to the PC, and I hope they do, please leave this silly limitation behind.

well, there are a bunch of methods to activate the cheats and able to save the game in XBOX360, just search "Red Dead Redemption mod" on youtube or google "Red Dead Redemption mod" and you will see the methods... but still no method on PS3...
This is so annoying - what is it to them whether or not we decide to cheat our way through a game? I mean - I can understand not getting trophies when we cheat, but why not save?
Cheat is such a stigmatized word, anyway. When I tell friends I cheat on games, they react as if I told I did crack, heroine, and cocaine at the same time; AND stole something.
I mean what the hell - I am a adult. I work, and I have a life outside my computer. I enjoy my games by using such things as infinite life and ammunition - it saves A LOT of time. Again - what is it to them?
If they really don't want us to cheat, try excluding the codes altogether. This is just .. well, annoying.
Agreed.
A strange move by Rockstar. Part of the fun with these GTA style games is opening them up with some cheats for some wild good times.
I certainly understand taking any and all steps to prevent online cheating and I even fully understand that if I cheat in single player I should be locked out of earning any trophies and such but this "no save" is just BS outright. I don't get it.
I sincerely hope Rockstar patches this needless and stupid limitation out of the game and if a PC version ever happens that this limitation doesn't come with that, either...although the PC version will be a lot easier to circumvent and deal with than the consoles.
