Okay so I have to do a PowerPoint project on video games, so I was just wondering if you guys could possibly help me out and give me some pictures of your guys' gameplay? I'm mainly using Halo and Call of Duty as examples so I'll take those.

I do not have those, but could get you some pics of Command and conquer.

I could do halo online but I can not find the right free trial. every time I install it it only does the command prompt to the server, or it just loads the server.

Just go to gamespot and you will have all the ingame images that you require.

yes...gamespot and ign too would be good places to start. i've come across good images at strategyinformer.com too.
