I'm not American so I couldn't give a crap about the Republicans/Democratic bull**** or any political bull**** for that matter, but if your illegally stealing a job that could of potentially have gone to a homeless, unemployed, or even someone who is close to me on a personal level, that is actually legally allowed in the country, GTFO.
I don't live in America but Canada is pretty similar in the general layout of wealth and such. The jobs illegals have, no one wants them. And as for homeless people, they don't even want to go to shelters when it gets cold outside. They're a bunch of drunks and drug addicts, they don't care about getting those jobs.
my humble advice to immigrants would be..immigrate legally and do so with skills which u can use to contribute to the society u're becoming a part off.
My parents came to Canada in 1984. As I was growing up I saw tons of our relatives come over too, if there's one thing I learned it's that it isn't easy. My mom's nephew came over a few months ago on a one year study visa, his sister got a work visa but it took her 3 years to get it. And the only reason either of them got the visas is because they both have degrees from India. And the second they get over here those degrees are useless because no one recognizes a degree from countries like India so they have to go to college. But if you don't have a degree you've got nothing. The government doesn't care about bringing over labourers, they want educated workers like doctors or skilled labourers like crane operators.
No matter who wins in the end, there is a clear loser.
If Republicans win, illegals get sent home.
If Democrats win, illegals will suddenly be subject to minimum wage laws and payroll taxes and the like. And most, if not the vast majority, will lose their jobs.
No matter who wins, illegals lose.
And, should the Democrats win and they all lose their jobs as you've said, they'll all have to go back for financial reasons. No reason to stay if there's no jobs here. That's why they left Mexico in the first place.

yea...i do agree its not easy for most immigrants and they have to start from scratch. most of my family moved state side about 35-40 years ago. i am the last remaining member here and comtemplating things..so i guess for me it'd be a lot easier.

The immigrants in America do have jobs that people want. With the recession here people are taking any job they can get. Where I live, the standards are pretty high now and I cant even get a job. It is really annoying that the people who came here illegally are taking all of the jobs that us hard working legal Americans could have.
The only reason they are being hired...Cheap labor!
