This might seem like a strange thing to pick up on, but here goes.
Has anyone else noticed that besides the Asari and Drell, every other sapient alien race in the Mass Effect universe - including the Geth - have only three fingers?

Well... two fingers and a thumb!

Hahaha yeah, I've noticed that. I wonder if it's better to have five or three fingers. I don't know, but somehow five fingers just says more possibilities. And more sock puppets
The Geth have three because they were built in the image of the quarians, a sort of "God created man in his image" scenario.


Only the Hanar truly differ from everyone else... being squid-like jellyfish and all.

Oh, I just noticed that Batarians also have 5 fingers!

The Drell seem to have their 3rd and 4th fingers fused together, from what I can see in the game.

Yes, it seems five and three fingers are the preferred evolutionary path.

What about the Elcor?

They have lots of dangling fingers...
