Most know you can upgrade each weapon three times until a different variation characters ultimate weapon depending on the tire 1 weapon you upgrade, but here is the thing there is no point upgrading every single weapon three time as it is too consuming.

So here is why dilemma, I can't decide which weapon for each character I should be building up until their ultimate weapon, I've already decided on Lightning, but what about the other characters?


I've seen a couple of conflicting statements on this on the web, so which weapons do you think and why?

Ok I've pretty much decided on what weapons to use based off this site ff-13.info/category/weapons/ but I still wouldn't mind hearing your opinion on the matter.


Lightning - Lionheart, Snow - Powercircle, Vanille - Belladonna Ward, Fang - Pandora Spear, Hope - Otshirvani, and Sazh - Antare Deluxes.


Although I'm still not 100% sure on Sazh, may end up switching to Vega or Rigel.

Are you sure that the lion heart is the best weapon to upgrade for lightning? i have been using the one that turns into Helter Skelter, uhh i forgot what it's called, but it has so much attack power and is decent to uppgrade. Its blackish and has a yellow handle. You get early on in the game.
