There is a coalesced.ini editor on the bioware forums (social.bioware.com/forum/Mass-Effect/Mass-Effect-PC-Technical-Support-Spoilers-Warning/ME-2-PC--Coalesced-Editor-v10019-B-RFT-834703-1.html
Download here: social.bioware.com/project/1854/#files , it should be there, it was last I checked) that you all may want to check out. I had also begun writing a paragon walkthrough using it, but the segment I sent to CH was never returned with an 'accepted/denied' message (was registering for authorship.)

You will find helpful hints inside the editor, and it will do all of the required steps to get the coalesced.ini back to a game-ready state when you are done. As well, several people have written addons to be used with this editor, such as clothing unlockers.

I'm having issues finding this editor or one equivalent. The social bioware site mentioned has since been shutdown. There is another I've tried, but instead of saving the coalesced.ini file it simply returns it to default and does not save it. The application is simply called Mass Effect 2 Coalesced Compiler.
Is there a working editor out there somewhere? I'm wondering if Windows 10 is the real issue =/
