My settings where crashing the game.I had to lower the video to 1024 x 768 and disable the 3D sound. Thats pretty bad to have to do with my rig: 2 Quad Q6600 2.40 GHz 4 Gb Ram BF2G GeForce GTX 275 OC 896 MB GDDR3 SDRAM Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series And I have all the recent drivers and had to lower these settings!

I have been having the same issues as everyone else, I agree with another post that the game could very well be buggy. My specs shouldn't crash either
Intel i7 920 2.66 12G DDR3 ATI radeon 4870X2 2G GDDR Onboard sound from Asus P6TSE recent drivers and updates installed for windows 7 enterprise 64 Bit
I recently have been running HL2 with fakefactorys V10 Mod on settings of 2048*1152 without any problems
