I must say that the Xbox is older, cheaper, and a darn good machine.
But the PS3 has benifits of Blu-Ray and the 6 axis controllers.
Although im a Xbox fan, for kids PS3 is the way to go due to the Xbox's ring of death, wich would reder you without a console for days.
    So PS3=Little kids
    And Xbox= Teen-adult.

I think the 360 has a better controller. The thumbsticks might bot be symmetrically placed but they feel natural to use. And the triggers are a huge benefit. I've been told that the buttons on the PS3 are pressure sensitive but with so little travel possible they don't offer the same level of control as a trigger.

I've never tried this or even seen anyone do this but I've heard the PS3 can surf the internet right out of the box. The 360 can't.

I'm lost on how everyone says the Xbox is cheaper, when you add it up it's about the same as the ps3 if you think about getting it to an equal level, buying Plug and play kit for remotes, hddvd drive, wireless adapter and etc... tho I stick to my earlier post and say, it depends on their friends...

but who are you kidding? ay who are you lying to? you know if they want you
best believe they will find you...

Doesn't the RROD issue get fixed? Microsoft had announced that long time ago.

Killzone2 made it flex it's muscles don't make me giggle...It didn't even use half of the power thats there, most developers haven't tapped into that full potential yet, the director for GOW3 said they didn't even use 50% of it's power for it..

but back on topic... It depends where they have more friends XBL or PSN... but If you want it for just gaming, then yeah go for the 360!! If your looking for a little more then gaming go Ps3 that way you don't have to shell out extra money for all the add on stuff for 360.

its a popularly held belief..and its a start compared to the truly weak games that came before it...so..yea..Killzone 2 did make the PS3 flex it muscles. from a pure gamers perspective i will go with the 360...but that doesn't make the PS3 any less potent.

Why would you buy an HD DVD drive? HD is obsolete. Fact is as far as movies are concerned, the PS3 wins.
