I know the names are bad, but do you think that there will be another next gen consoles, after the current ones?

I think that it's an inevitability.

Odds are that this generation will last longer than the last few, but it will come to an end in the coming few years. At the very least the Wii will get an upgrade soon. They're already maxing out its potential with relative ease.

Yeah pretty much what he said, though I have my doubts that the the Xbox 3 will be called 720 .

I'm sure there will be next generation of those consoles. The thing is, people demand for better technology than what it is today. There should never be enough for people in terms of technologies. Take one into account, internet speed. Has it ever been enough for all of us? Despite you being a light user, the faster the better.

Oh course there will, I don't even think its worth questioning. Hopefully not too soon because I'm not forking out another near 1000 bucks for another console any time soon.

yea..i think there will be. although i don't think XBox 360 will be called 720

PS4... sure, but i don't think that the next Xbox would be xbox720.
