METRO 2033 Message Board  

Will there be a trainer for the STEAM version of METRO 2033 or will the retail version work.

I would like a Steam version when you can please

It can't hurt to try it.

It's a "Steamworks" game, it requires Steam to work, unsure about the various "fixed" exe files but the default trainer works just fine with the Steam version and the update for it.
(Retail version being a bunch of SIM/SID archives that are installed via Steam to your account.)

Cant get trainer (either one) to work with my steam version of Metro 2033. Can anyone help?
The trainer acivates but then freezes game. I am at the part where you first meet Librarians if that helps. If some kind soul could help me and also show me how I will really be greatful.

Comp Specs:
Intel Quad core 2.5 GHz CPU
4GB RAM
NVidia GT 230 GPU (rubbish Medion cutdown version)
Vista Home Premium (sorry, system came with it!)

I'm using the STEAm version of Metro 2033...Both the Original and patch #1 do not work for this, I cant use patch #2 for reasons of this site. Please, if there is a possible chance that there is some kind soul out there to make a steam applicable trainer version for Metro 2033, I would be very greatful and so would the people of cheathappens and their Free members...just dont put it as ultimate members only is all I ask..Thanks

no trainer works for my steam version either

Okay nvm, the trainers do work and i bought the game recently during the treasure hunt event on steam (75% off)
