It's just a **** take really none of were taking it serious, he chose the music and made it to over dramatic maybeh.
The actual series will be the most ridiculous thing you've ever seen so I think its probably unrepresentative of the series and fails as a promo.

Start off using your powers for otherwise mundane tasks, basically fooling around.
Then after an overly dramatic twist you should start exploding people's heads somehow.
Also, your powers should have a drain on your stamina or something, and instead of waiting for your stamina to come back via eating or resting, you should be able to "recharge" via electrical or heat sources.
Also, slapstick comedy and silly puns will work well too if they're not overdone.
