As far as downloaded versions go I know Skidrow is considered the proper "release" but they use a different EXE name which probably doesn't work with this trainer, something like JC2-Game.exe or such (And a launcher takes the game EXE name and sets language and other stuff before starting.) however there might be other trainers that can also hook to JustCause2.exe (Reloaded version perhaps? or maybe also compatible with other legal/Steam versions as the EXE's are very similar.) but I have no idea if they are compatible with more than just the cracked EXE.
(Haven't tested that many as I use the normal Steam game, Psych's on Cheatscapes looks like the one with the most options, most on GCW appear to be tailored towards Skidrows version/EXE name but there are probably those that work on other versions as well but I have no tried them more than reading the info file.)

As for UK/EU/US versions there are none, Steam only has a general Just Cause 2 entry at app 8190 and nothing localized.
(Metro to use another Steam tied game is split to WW/Worldwide US and RU/Eastern-Europe though it's primarily about localization differences and extra language files and not the core game and exe files.)

EDIT: Link to imageshack with a image showing the content ID of Metro and Just Cause 2, the main Metro file is for the EXE, rest is for game data and the localization is for the language used plus a placeholder DLC entry.

For Just Cause 2 there's a pre-order ID but the game is still only using ID 8190 along with a ID for the Black Market Chaos pack DLC and some other numbers later down in this list (Steam content viewer or what the program is commonly called.) for other DLC additions.

Trainer doesnt work for me either, and i dont have a pirated version, i am from Norway, and bought the game on steam, game starts but if i activate the trainer on the main screen, i cannot start a loaded game, it seems to load fine but when the game is supposed to start the screen goes black and the windows mouse pointer is shown in the middle of the screen,

@PWizard i run the legal steam version and there is obviously no link between this trainer not working and running a pirated version of the game under is my last steam history

please it would be nice if someone looked into this issue, as i really dont want to use any other trainers from other sites malware and viruses is to common, i like the trainers from CH they usually work, and are clean as a whistle

I'm from Sweden so I have the same version of the game as you do, I bought it through Steam aswell. The trainer works flawless for me, but it sounds really strange if you get all those issues you listed here.

Do you use offline or online trainer?
Is your graphics drivers up to date?
What happens if you load the trainer while you are inside the game already?

dont quite understand the question, but i am online while i play and attemt to use the trainer, i have never really tried to run any steam game offline as all my other steam games are games i play in multiplayer.

Yes, my drivers are up to date, i can play the game when i dont attemt to load the trainer at the main screen, i use Win 7 64bit also legal with a Gtx 275 graphics card

What happens if you load the trainer while you are inside the game already?
same thing, if i load the game first and press F1 obviously the pda opens i can scroll the map np, but when i close the pda, black screen mouse pointer in the middle of the screen.

I havent tried to remap the pda from the F1 and then activate it though, ill try that i havent tried to run it without using my 360 controller for windows aswell, ill post results soon, i could probably post som screenshots of whats happening and proof i run it legally if it helps anyone to help me out.

nope neither worked, when i remapped F1 it just went straight to the black screen when F1 was pushed, when i took a screenshot of that i got a white screen with a error message image below:

hmmm i guess Kaspersky internet security does not do their job well..

4 files i download from ch. 2 are infected. but i guess its false positive.

Just create a folder for your trainers, tell Kaspersky to ignore virus threats for that folder, or just the ones you are seeing, and just save only your cheat happens trainers there. Most of the "viruses" show up as keyhook or keylogger, which isn't unusual for trainers to show up as, since they have to intercept the key presses to feed them to the trainer.

That is the only way I can get most of the trainers to download due to false positives. After my kaspersky license expires, I'm going back to E-set's NOD32.

Steam just updated Just Cause 2 to V1.0.0.1 and the current trainer no longer works as it crashes the game. I can't find out anything about what the update was for, any ideas?

Edit: redownloaded the trainer and it now works fine, thanks for the update.
