Same issue here.

I have the same thing going on but I have also uninstalled all antimalware software. I have also tried with DEP on and off. It crashes instantly with online authentication and a couple seconds with offline authentication. I have tried offline with the network activated and deactivated with no change. I have tried running the game with compatibility mode on and off with both the online and offline authentication. Checked with Microsoft Visual Studio debugger with the following:
