METRO 2033 Discussion
Trainer Tools and Resources
Has nicer graphics, which is good.
Has similar bugs and glitches (both in kind and ammount), which is very bad. I am about to restart the game due to the "unable to pickup rifle" problem, and I got a couple of unexpected crashes, glitches (mainly with light) and lag too.
I find the environment too dark and claustrophobic all the time, feels like a Russian version of DOOM 3. I mean it is cool at first, but boring a long the way.
But overall it is a good game.
Never experienced a CTD until a scripted event and I had 1 hit kill on, but that's my fault, not the games.
The only complaint is the same as the one I had for the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R game, lack of engine optimization.
But as this is the Team who made the first game I guess its going to have the same bugs.
If Call of Pripyat came run smoothly using DX11, this should too...
Lack of Mutliplayer is turning a lot of people off, MP isn't a selling point for me, but it is for a lot of people..
All in all, if you're looking for a good dark "Doom 3" style game grab it when STEAM have it on sale...lol
Cant understand how some people can say "it has the stalker feeling"?, it is nothing like Stalker. It just feels like playing Half Life 2 or something (a basic linear fps shooter), and all these cut movies make me sick!
I am a Stalker fan and have made a lot of mods for all stalker games, just so you know

And that silly AI when your following someone, run....stop to wait on you then takes 3 seconds to run again....run...stop to wait on you...etc etc. And yes the NPC's threat detection isnt the best either, they do notice lights but usually to late because by that time I have killed them.
my score is lovered by my hate to fpp games
ed by me:
book is 9/10
