Well, people have different tastes, that's how it is.

Regarding piracy: if I wouldn't (and I sure as hell wouldn't) buy the game, what so bloody ever, EA will not suffer anything from me downloading it. There will be no losses compared to not buying the game. None. Zero. The only thing changed is me - I've got a cultural enrichment. (Although I'd never call C&C4 that, but this is just in theory anyway.)

I personally see C&C4 as a total annhilation of the original C&C games (been playing since C&C1, and Dune2 before that - those games still have a large place in my heart), since it removes everything that made the series what it is. It is on those "ideological" grounds I choose to boycott C&C4 totally. The only reason I'd personally see for playing the game is to see how the story ends - and I could just as well just see the cutscenes on Youtube to find out, or read them on some webpage.

I fully agree with you on h4x0r's work, at least on the factual things. (I will not go as far as to lynch the person, as he is still a human being, like the rest of us.)

As for the Legit > Pirated prioritizing - that I understand and support to 100%, pirates should sure as hell not enjoy any benefits retail users don't. (That's why DRM fails so badly, add some extra value to the retail version of the game that the pirates can't enjoy, instead. Lots of possible things to do here, controlling the people actually paying for the game isn't a solution.)

I am not pro-piracy, neither am I anti it, due to the fact that it can't be seen so simply. It's a grey zone, as with any ethical and philosophical matters.

Gotta say I love the debate, how it brings out the best (mostly argumenting techniques and intellectual debate manners) and the worst (trolling, blindly defending/attacking, threats and violence) in people. From a third person perspective it's really interesting - and I hope there isn't any hard feelings towards me as one of your customers.

Damn it'd be nice to be a ghost, following all possible angles of the technological development without having to bother getting involved in it.

Those two things do not exclude themselves. For example what about Alien vs Predator and anti cheat protection ? If all the games would use such protection would you still force your point of view ? And if pirating users would be a majority like 80% of users ? It would be sane to try and keep them all here wouldn't it ? And aren't you right now prioritising (or whatever the correct word is) legit users over pirates ? I think many people here sees things this way. And that's why h4x0r has such power and reputation. You are giving it to him. I sure do hope they are a majority here. Legit users. I guess they are. Hmmm. And can't all legit users can still use crack ?
Not that i would openly suggest anyone to do that. But your point is not entirely valid ? That legit users would be left out if you'd write more options in trainers etc. They would still have a choice. Although i must admit i don't know what crack does to a game other than remove protections which are a total waste of money anyway. Maybe they also hinder the game in some way. In that case my point is not valid.

All in one. I think customers are the priority here. Happy customers. And the original game is out before pirated one almost always. So i really see no biggie here. You first make a trainer for legit and then pirated version. And since it's easy to make a trainer for pirated you waste only a little of your precious time. At least for hit games such as this one. You could simply satisfy them all ? I fail to see the point in arguing. This helps no one. You know the saying... Forum arguing is like running special olimpics. You can win yes. I never intended this to go as far as it did. There is a room for a civil talk isn't it ? If we are not happy with something why not try and change ? And can't we all talk about it and debate things ? It's for your own good as well i guess. Could you please make a trainer for those kids as well ? Why not ? This could be over in seconds and you'd be a real winner.

About h4x0r. If he could do it so could you. But right now people that use pirated version are forced to use his trainer. Although they are members here. So you are in a way sending them to him. Giving him a base of users. Giving him reputation power etc. And trust me ... It's only a matter of time before he tries something like CH. Right now you make people wonder... why did i pay for something if i can get it here for free and it works. Please do try to understand what i am saying. I am not walking over you for no good reason or anything. I think this IS a valid point of view and i think i am right here. Nobody here cares how he did it. And why. But they do care about using a trainer. So why not give it to them and keep them here ? I tolly get you. How ****ed must you be @ him for using your work and selling it for his own. But IMHO the best way for you would be to ignore everything and try to beat him @ his own game. Everybody knows what he does. But if he gives something that you can't (or in this case refuse to give) then they don't care. And believe me when i say that also the people who bought the game wouldn't care in this case. Not only the pirates.

I speak out openly. I speak my mind. I am not saying that i am right and you are wrong. Nobody can't be 100% right here i guess. You are the boss you set the rules it's your site your decision... everything is up to you. And i will comply and follow the rules (well at least till they are sane that it ) But i see no harm if you hear a bad opinion from time to time. Not only a praise. Guys my game crashes everytime i activate the trainer, i start the trainer and the game, then it loads the map, just when it gets done, it crashes, works fine without the trainer, if i start the level then the trainer it will crash as soon as i hit f1, this has never happened to me before, i've tried to run it in comp mode, and as a administrator, but still nothing, in the first level of the game the trainer activated fine, no crashes, although i wasnt able to use any of the options, i use Win7 64 bit, i've also gone through the troubleshooting, but no help.

you may have roung verson of the trainer, that is mostly the reasen why trainers dont work, i gues the game has been updated then, waiting for new trainer over the 29th

Can you upgrade your Trainer for the OFFICIAL offline patch?

There is no offical offline patch. There is only one of the unofficial RLS Group RELOADED

Show me this "official" offline patch. Retail game has not patched again since release. Trainer still works fine.

BTW people, our trainer works 100% with the RLD no-cd fix as long as you actually update the game to the latest version and THEN use the no-cd fix.
