Like on my work colleagues keeps on saying "consoley"

They are making games to be enjoyed more on consoles now.

EA are interested in one thing only and that is $$$$$.

They don't care about treading on anyones toes and proberly did this to kill the franchise so they can work on other things like THE SIMS 4 (unconfirmed) and make that a **** game like it already is.

publishing companies should never make games or dictate. developers should be the ones doing ie they should of kept westwood as a dev studio then published the game.

its like books now as well.

The writer writes the book, the marketing/editor goes over and makes it more appealing to the mass market even though it was intended for a different market.

also ea get rid of your download manager and move all the games to steam, why run all that extra software and hardware for games when you already sell ea games on steam? it would be more cost effective to use steam.

to be honest i did not mind generals. it had some good points and could of added another franchise to the cnc universe.

red alert 3 was ok at best. RA2 is awesome. CNC3 was ok as well but tiberian sun still is fun even today and now its free!

i think EA should look into combining Renegade with say cn3.
build a base have a character and fight in 3rd person. this would be awesome with ability to jump out of 3rd person when either you die or get to a designated position.

Supreme Commander 2 is far superior to this game.

Starcraft 2 is going to own.

why do people always base their purchases on other people's accounts of the game??

I find this game very good, much better then the other C&C games.

I personally found the Stalker games rubbish, poorly handled gun mechanics,just outright crap, but there are players that love the stalker games completely.

So, you really can't judge a game solely on other peoples' judgements.....everyones' opinions are different to yours.

Oh god, it's so terrible. I'm glad I didn't buy it. I thought the beta was bad enough but EA just completely ruined the series.... We'd be better off if a mod team just made up their own ending similar to C&C4 but using the engine from C&C3, or something to that end. (Or the people that were fired/left the C&C4 team finish it themselves the way it should be, with the base building.)

Dawn of War II was actually fun to play considering the new play type but this is just, there are truly no words for how badly EA up this time.

I think I'm just going to have to watch the cinematics from the game on YouTube just to get the gist of how it ends.

Though JamieK is correct, you shouldn't base a game off of the account of other people, especially if you do not know them. If you do know them and you have similar tastes then it would be safe to assume.

Also I love STALKER games.

I'm glad I read this before buying the game...
It sure is hell of a disappointment seeing the C&C series go down so harsh..

Well after reading all this, I will definitely not buy this game that is nothing more than a mere shadow of the original series...

It's no surprise you've got all the consoles.

Actually the reason that I won't buy it is because of the DRM. I'm not always online, hell I want to play my games without going online. Internet here in the Philippines is not cheap.

true. everyone has their own individual way of looking at things and their own opinions. just because a bunch of people don't like a particular game doesn't make it bad. i don't like these post-apocalyptic games...i find them too depressing but that doesn't make them bad games. same goes for C&C4..yea..DRM is a problem for most gamers..but that doesn't make it a bad game. i like this game and i've ordered it..DRM or not..i'll play it even if i have to stay connected all day.
