this mod works in steam...I ran it myself....old mod and new mod ( old I ran through a complete campaign and transferred to CR and no problems, then I tried the new mod and started a new campaign in CR and again worked fine)...you just have to make sure you get the .lua file in the correct folder...in steam (this refers to CR) C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\dawn of war 2\GameAssets\Data\campaign\xp1\missions you will probably need to create the campaign/xp1/missions folders manually (navigate to the data folder...inside there create a folder and name it campaign....go into tcampaign folder and make a new folder called xp1...then again go into xp1 and create missions folder...then copy the x01_arrival.lua file here)hope this helps out the noobs ....

ANY DoW2 is steam, disk is used as in backup option...

Where did you get the patch from?? i haven't got 2.1.1 yet.

Tried putting this cheat files into the directory webwalker mentioned. still didn't work. The files according to instructions are meant to be placed in the /dow2 directory. replacing the existing ones. Now i am still on v2.1.0 and there hasn't been any update via steam yet. if anyone knows where this cheat mod works for steam version it would be nice if someone could let me know. cheers!

After a fresh installation of DOW2 and CR - everything worked fine.
Think my prob was "old" DOW 2 only Mod's that are not running with the newest patch (2.1)
So Dow2 + CR + Cheat MOd and WargearMod works very well!
Should you have any other Mod's for DOW2 running/installed maybe that is the problem.
Only problem I have now is that the armory will take a long time to load cause of all that equip that is now there - but hey nevertheless it is running!

One thing: I notice that if I set up the -dev command in Steam the game crashes - at least for me.
If I set the -dev directly in the desktop shortcut everthing is OK.

Just to let others know, I have the Steam version of the game, 2.1.0.4679, and it works.

I put the autoexec.lua and cheatmenu.scar in the same directory as the DOW2.exe file.

I also modified the shortcut to the game to add -dev

It worked on the 1st try.
