S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat Message Board  

Hello I have this problem that when i finish the mission of gathering all the members for venturing into pripyat, the screen will go black, like when travelling with people and stuff.. Then it just stays like that.. Can't enter the menu or anything.

Can be an issue regarding your hardware. Does you system meet the game's minimum system requirements?

I can also blame the trainer for it, have you tried going through it without the trainer (If you are using it).

My game does indeed meet the minimum req. I'm not to fond of the idea of playing through this game again, without the trainer. But if that's the case, I'm just giving up.. Although i just found a site with some proclaimed fix on black screens in game, so I'm going to try this out first.

EDIT:
just tried out the solution, but it didnt help.. Apparently someone had it fixed by turning off dynamic lighting. Oh well, I dont want to mess around with this anymore, so I'll just uninstall the game. Thanks for answering me though

I had the same problem. Then i bought the game :P

And again i had the same problem.... my nerves went berserk!!!

But then i downloaded the new drivers for my graphics card and all went ok....

Advise... Try updating whatever works with ur gaming pleasure
