Same question that always gets listed for a FF game: What is the easiest way you have found to get Gil?

Best place I've found so far is on the Palamecia (chapter 9). Find any area you like and just keep going back and forth. The enemies all give decent CP and decent items. I maxed out all the Crystarium levels for everyone and got all the weapons up to their max level (the first time). Got bored after a couple hours so I didn't keep going.

i think the best way to get gil, is to sell weapons
and accessories. you don't really need them, if you
keep ugrading your weapons. ive just sold a weapon
for 20,000 gil...

Wait till chapter 11 - when your in Grand Pulse. This game seems to throw a lot of decision making inclinations at you early in the game but you really don't need to preform any major upgrades till chapter 11. do not sell your stuff, you can make 40k CP a hour in chapter 11

There's also a part before chapter 11 (Chapter 10 to be exact) on the first map. Find the group of Noctilucale (I call them flower leeches). Kill those with com/com/med. Its a good way to farm for CP and the oils that drop will reach to 99 in no time. They only sell for 15-40 gil i think but x99... it builds up.

edit:
1. 5 leeches by the stairs and save point. i think thats 320cp per kill.
2. 10 leeches (that can be pre-emptive) by the treasure sphere. To make them respawn just jump back down 4 flights then jump back up again. 640cp here per kill and if you get pre emptive, i think fight lasts like 5-10secs. If not 43-44secs.

The best Gil making I have found is taking a Gae Bolg and maxing it ie Kains lance (cost is around 1.5 mil gil). Dismantle and sell items you get 4 mil gil, total profit of 2.5 mil gil.

As far as grinding the Tesseract is the best spot I have found. The few mobs in there drop 32000 Cp and take about a minute and a half to kill.

what chapter is that "tasseract" place in??

found a great place on chapter 11 the Fal'cie Titan gives you a test where you can do about 15 BOSS battles as well as some nice normal battles that will net you between 7000-15000 exp per boss battle and 3000-10000 exp for normal battle, you can also get nice loot from each boss battle
