I was reading this article about New Vegas talking about what the game would be like and all the new stuff. After reading the last word, I told myself that New Vegas = Fallout 3+... It seems like this game is Fallout 3 with all the features they forgot to put in Fallout 3 (weapon modding, companion orders) but set up in a new city. Don't get me wrong this game still looks awesome but it just feels like an expansion to Fallout 3.

I would of loved to see Fallout come back to it's roots and get a top down view for this new title.

I really just can't wait for the game. If I could get the game by sneaking in Bethesda's office, I will do so.

It's not by Bethesda.

It's by Obsidian.

And PC Gamer had a big thing on it and it was all in 3rd person, so the rumors of the removal of the 1st person perspective were apparently correct.

And you are incorrect on the 1st person being removed because the article is written by people who where invited to test the game at Bethesda and they said that the game starts in 1st and gives you the 3rd person choice. You can get all the info on this in the combat section of this link Link.

What you guys don't seems to understand is that New Vegas is exactly the same game as Fallout 3 which could have been an expansion instead of a stand alone.

I hope they keep the first person, cause third person gives me accuracy problems - When it comes to games like Elder Scroll series and Fallout series.

I can see how people can think that it's being made by Bethesda, though. The trailer is incredibly similar to F03's trailer.
