With trainer and without trainer playing SP and MP is a pain with the constant crashing every few minutes. Yes my vid drives are up to date and use windows 7. Game version updated to 519874. (was forced to use updater or could not play the game).

    Anyone else getting massive crashes?

Are you using the most recent drivers for your video card? Maybe try using the second-most recent driver.

rename the exe to BF2.exe,this is a temp fix for the white screen of death crashes.Although i doubt the trainer will work by renaming it.

as already mentioned the most recent drivers, ( at least for nvidia cards) have caused overheating issues, ALL websites / mirrors have been asked to pull the 196.75?? Drivers and its best of you rollback to an earlier version of driver 196.21.
until the issue can be fixed and an updated driver be made.

you should try manually updating Punkbuster, worked for me.

download the tool, add BC2 if it's not detected and then update.

I don't know about you guys, but I still keep getting crashes to desktop when I even try to load my game with the trainer, using the most updated ATi drivers, using a 4870 so it's in DX10 mode, punkbuster for BC2 has been manually updated. Also, this is on the STEAM version and still, it keeps crashing to desktop when I try to load my save. Also I *love* how my posts about this keep getting deleted. Money well spent IMO.

I keep crashing. I have shut off anti-virus and automatic updates.
I'm not even using the trainer and i still get crashes. All hardware is up to date, so don't suggest that.
