I have been searching for classes lately and it came to my mind that you really need to develop your own opinion of what weapons suit you because the amount of classes you find online is overwhelming.

ha true...I normally use the Scar or ak...but right now I don't have the AK...

heres my top 3 classes

1, M16A4 w/Holographic Sight, and FMJ.
Striker.
Semtex. Flash.
Bling, Stopping Power Pro, Steady Aim or Commando pro.

2, Scar-H, Holographic Sight(learn how to use it for long distance and you'll be amazing)
Striker.
Semtex. Flash.
Sleight of Hand pro, Stopping Power Pro, Commando Pro.

3, For CCF/Dem/etc or when other team is Knifing..
UMP45 with Red dot or H.S
Striker.
Marathon Pro,Lightweight,Scrambler Pro.

Note:all strikers have no sights but have the grip.

Yea my top are probably:

1. Scar-H Red Dot or HS (Silencer Occasionally)
PP2000 Extended Mags
Semtex/Frag
Perks: Scav Pro
Stopping Power
Commando (Pro Optional)

2. UMP Silencer
SPAS 12/M1014 Grip
Claymore
Perks: Marathon
Hardline
Ninja Pro

3. AUG HBAR Grip
M93 Raffica FMJ
Semtex/Frag (Claymore For Derail)
Perks: Sleight of Hand/Scav Pro
Stopping Power
Commando


Those are the top I find effective. The UMP is used for rushing on medium maps but mostly I stick with the SCAR. The AUG HBAR is good for Afghan/Derail.

my top 3 gotta be:

1: ACR-red dot or acog (depends on map)
USP .45-tac knife
claymore or symtex (depends on map)
p1-scavenger pro/sleight of hand
p2-cold blooded
p3-ninja

2: M16-holographic
USP .45-tac knife
perks & equipment same as #1


3: Intervention-acog or normal sight
USP .45 tac knife
equipment same as #1&2
perks: sleight of hand
cold blooded
ninja/steady aim

also i use stopping power if playing regular modes. but i mostly play HC matches, except HC team deathmatch kinda ****es me off some times, way to much camping.

My overall favorite I have would be:

M16A4- holographic sight
USP.45-tac knice or any kind of powerful shotgun(helps with close combat while you use the M16 for long range)
always claymore with flash or stun grenade
p1- scavenger pro
p2- stopping power pro
p3- command pro
*note: you dont have to have the pros

my main use for my weapons is i will kill enemies from a distance on a big map or one with some good sniping spots that i have that havent been exposed then when i need to travel and im in a spot where there is little room like a building ill bring out my shot gun or secondary if i feel like knifing

I seem to be getting to like the throwing knife. It can be useful.

these are classes that i almost everytime use

yes it is but its very hard to use because of the constant moving but its pretty funny if you get the game winning killcam and threw it at someones crotch
