Naval Units

    It seems I cannot build Aeon Naval? Their Land units are Naval also?
    Also, There appears to be no real good Naval Maps at all

    The Aeon no longer have naval units, since someone decided that hover units can be counted as naval units as well. As for the naval maps, most of the SC2 maps are smaller versions of the originals so there really isn't any good large naval maps as far as I've seen.

    And on top of that, it takes a SWARM of Aeon hover units to take down even just a couple of, say, UEF naval units. They have far fewer hit points, do less damage individually, and have a MUCH shorter firing range (even upgraded) than even the basic naval units. I think it was extremely stupid to take out Aeon's naval force...then again, as mentioned, there are hardly ANY good naval maps, and the ones that even function close to naval battle maps work far better with air, and even to some extent, ground.

    All in all, I think GPG REALLY dropped the bomb on this one.

    It seems like SC2 developers have poor laps of judgement when it comes to naval maps, I loved pure Naval Battles and vast oceans. Even when I play the only naval map, the AI does not produce naval fleets? So bad.... Forged Alliance was much better in that sense.

    Yeah! I once excluded the match to only include naval . And the AI just sits there and does nothing, easy for the picking... Owell.. makes achivements easy I guess

    Hopefully the next update will fix the Naval AI problem, and give us real Aeon Naval Fleet. Someone needs to write the developers and producers.
