Just Cause 2 Message Board  

I tried on windows 7 and it still doesen't start and it shows me that there is a problem whit the directx and i have all the updates and the newest version of directx 10 Please help

Here's an idea: Try posting on the actual forum for this game. This place isn't tech support for the game.

I tried again and it worked I just danwoaded the latest drivers and it worked

In the past I have asked tech questions here since a lot of members and staff help you out but you do have a point there. Anyway, sometimes its nice to assist your fellow gamers when they have a problem

Sure, it's nice to help. But, there's an official game forum where employees read and post. If you've got a problem with a game, the best place to post is on the official game forum.

Sir, I agree with you 100% about seeking help on the Official game forums, its the proper place to do it. Some gamers will look for shortcuts to resolve their problems by logging at CH first looking for a quicky fix. At my age CH makes my gaming a wonderful pastime. Iam fortunate to be a member here with a Great group to post with.

It's too bad that people think that they have to be rude just because they're anonymous. :/

Just to add, it appears you need an actual DX10-capable card to actually play the game. Just having Vista or 7 and DirectX 10 installed still won't guarantee you will be able to run the game.

If your card is a previous-gen DX9 card, like me, you're out of luck.
