I don't know about the rest of you, but I SERIOUSLY can't follow the story (stories) in the campaign. One minute I'm helping everyone, next minute I'm fighting everyone. One minute I'm fighting the UEF, next minute I'm a terrorist. WTF? SERIOUSLY! Nothing in between the missions fills in anything, and none of the conversations in the actual missions don't really tell you ****. Someone REALLY dropped the ball on this one!

from what I learned in the demo I agree, but I don't play strategy games for the story..

Sadly, since the rest of the world gets shafted on release dates I can't actually play yet.

Quite frankly I am really disappointed as well... I feel a little let down. They were making claims that the storyline was gonna bring you into a new depth never before seen in a RTS. It was gay... I don't think I've seen many worse. However if you don't give about the story line and just play multiplayer I suppose it is pretty good. Still major let-down!

ya i agree, after playing both Skirmish and SP I went back to SC:FA. I feel it is more close to TA than SC 2. even right up to the tiers. kinda of a let down. honestly though not as bad as *cough* BC 2 *cough*

    still good game

I am also really disappointed. Finished it today and find the SP way too short. As for the story, well, I guess i will have to be a patient in the psychiatric ward to find the story meaningfully coherent. The unit Cap also makes the game less appealing that SC:FA. Somehow, SC2 lacks the "massiveness" that this series should represent.

Its cos its made for the console retards who have less than 2 brain cells and **** computers so they get games on 4 years out of date consoles which means that RTS games, especially ones the size of Supreme commander 1 and Sup Com F.A, get dumbed down and made to look like a kids game.

    Blame the consoles

I totally agree! However there is no excuse for the storyline. Especially since the first 2 supreme commander games were pretty good in the way of a story. I got this game expecting big things cos it's only natural to build or improve or push the envelope further from game to game. In Supreme Commander 2's case that is not true they have made one giant leap backward. This is like Christopher Columbus getting to the coast of the Americas and saying this is far enough lets go home... or the chinese building the great wall of china and deciding to only build it 6' high... Shame!
