what CoSMOS?
what 4 bytes? ... binary or hex?
freeze what and how?

Cheating time in UK Truck Simulator is far easier than you suggest.

All you need is a couple of savegames and a basic text editor such as notepad.

The file you need to edit is game.sii (a text file) which you'll find in numbered subfolders in your My Documents\UK Truck Simulator\save folder. You need two savegames since you'll need to copy the time from the earlier save to the later one.

Search the game.sii file for two lines starting with;
game_time:
game_time_secs:

Copy both these lines from one file and overwrite the same lines in the other.

Notes:
game_time: = the number of minutes from the first day of the game, minimum value is 600 (min, or 10 hours ... the game starts @ 10:00 am)
In the example below "game_time: 762" is 162 minutes after the game started, or 12:42 pm on the first day

To get the correct (edited) time to show up in the load/save menu, edit the "time: " value as above in file info.sii

the line "file_time: " is just the Unix era time of the samegame, and doesn't need editing (at least, not for another 28 years)

Editing the Hex time in "game_time_secs: " should allow you to write your own times, but will need explaining by someone else.

fatige wont stay off for me too. it keeps going back on, ive tried saving the file as read only too but wont work still.

The fatigue 'cheat' does not work.

You can copy a time early enough so that you can sleep without missing your delivery time. But the easiest way to get rid of fatigue is to edit the fatigue counter to 0 - look for driving_time: in your current game.sii file (this counts minutes since your last break).

Other things you can cheat:

Increase Vehicle Power
change engine torque value in vehicle_engine_accessory : section, typical values for a C class truck are around 200 - I find 400 is sufficient
You can also change the Engine brake power by raising its value. Note, some torque values are in Decimal & some in Hex .. it doesn't matter that you use all Decimal values
Note: once you've increased the power/speed of the truck you better make sure you've turned off the police setting in the config

No Damage
change Hex damage values to zero, five values per truck, one per trailer

wear: 0
trailer_wear: 0

Cheap Trucks
when you're ready to buy your first truck you get three offers, at around £10,000 ~ £11,000 each. Once you accept the deal it is no longer available ... unless you edit the three mail.truck.discount string parameter accepted: true to accepted: false - rinse and repeat.
Note: Changing truck type or price, etc. will only change the message you received, it will not get you a better or cheaper truck.

Three cheap Garages
After you've bought your first truck you'll be offered three garages at a discount price of £25,000, but you only get to buy one and the offer closes.
Change the parameter accepted: true to accepted: false to buy your second garage and repeat for your third garage.
Note: Adding other cities or changing the price will only change the message you received, it will not get you more or cheaper garages.

'Free' Fuel
The Hex values in fuel_relative: give a percentage of a full tank, changing to 1 gives a full tank, changing to 2 gives two tanks worth of fuel ... changing to 1000 - you get the idea.

Your next project will be to put a 14 speed A class gearbox into a 9 speed C class truck

Hello Alhambra: You said above that if you set the fatigue counter to 0 in your current game.sii file that it will get rid of fatigue simulator. I am just wondering if you can help me find where it says fatigue counter to 0 in your current game.sii file. Because i can't find it thank you.
