    ok....first things first....the way that WONT f your game up possibly giving npcs weapons they shouldn't have

    get the editor i posted a link for on page 4

    in: BIOInput
    right click heading: [SFXGame.SFXGameModeDefault]
    select add settings -> new single setting
    paste (all as one line, no hard returns):

    if you think your ini might be corrupt you could rebuild it with this editor also...



    this will let you select at the weapon loadouts menu for anyone that can normally use them...
    geth pulse rifle
    carnifax handcannon
    tempest submachinegun
    vindicator battlerifle
    scimitar assault shotgun
    viper sniper rifle
    widow sniper rifle
    claymore heavy shotgun
    revnant light machinegun
    grenade launcher
    missle launcher
    cryo blaster (the avalanche)
    collector particle beam
    cain (the nuke launcher)
    flamethrower (the zaeed dlc heavy weapon)

    what this is doing is making it so that pressing numpad five will set the flags for those weapons to the default "aquired" value...

    you can also do this with all the research....and values can get ridiculous....for instance....setting the health and shield ones to 99 will get you over 2000 health and over 6000 shields...the code for that (and all other research) are on the first page

    yes it will work when you pick up the M-15 Vindicator Battle Rifle
    also any squad members that use assault rifles will be able to use it also

    The problem I run into, is that once (I am a Adept) I get to the Collector ship and have the chance to choose an extra weapon category, I cannot choose once I have added all of those categories through the editor. I am stuck with the standard Adept weapons setup (SMGs, Pistols, Heavy Weapons). Is there a way around this or can I do something where I can add all of these and have them at the outset of getting to the Normandy for the first time.

    Also, when I use this on a second playthrough save, and when I get to Freedom's Progress, I get the prompt that I have the assault rifle, but then it isn't in my inventory.
