Napoleon: Total War Message Board  

Just wondering what is the special abilities option? Didn't really look at units closely but do they have abilities in Napoleon TW?

Just a short notice that another update is out (Steam, game uses Steamworks but I can't find a changelog at their site at the moment and only sparse details on the forums.) unsure if the current trainer works but this update supposedly adds some new DLC or maybe it's support for new DLC available separately.

Might need a new trainer for compatibility but if it's just minor changes like say altering the version number the old one could still work.

EDIT: Steam added a new DLC and this patch appears to add the backend support for it after checking the data files a bit, new patch3.pak for the new content and some updates to the locale pak file and patch2.pak (Previous DLC content.)

(EXE was updated however so it might contain some general fixes unless it's just minor stuff like the previously mentioned update to the games version number if that's where it's stored.)

Ughhh i hate STEAM....
Ever since this DLC is online, when i push F1 in the mainmenu, it freezes NTW. Could somebody please look into it. Thx.

I did some modifications, so i thought, that might have had something to do with the crashing (since i could play it just fine a couple hours ago (without the DLC popup) - but after i redid everything to original, it still crashes the game...

We need the new exe to update the trainer.

I can send it to you, no problem, how would you like it? BTW i have the german language version install, just fyi.

yet you have a $50 game and a computer capable of playing it...
