Don't buy this game. This game requires an active internet connection to be able to play the single player game.

A PERMANENT HIGH SPEED INTERNET CONNECTION AND CREATION OF A UBISOFT ACCOUNT ARE REQUIRED TO PLAY THIS VIDEO GAME AT ALL TIMES AND TO UNLOCK EXCLUSIVE CONTENT. SUCH CONTENT MAY ONLY BE UNLOCKED ONE SINGLE TIME WITH A UNIQUE KEY. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 13 TO CREATE A UBISOFT ACCOUNT WITHOUT PARENTAL CONSENT. UBISOFT MAY CANCEL ACCESS TO ONLINE FEATURES UPON A 30-DAY PRIOR NOTICE PUBLISHED AT assassinscreed.com

FU ubisoft and as long as they have this I will never buy another one of their games.

you shouldn't tell people not to buy this game a lot of us bought this game and we love it if you don't feel like buying the game that on you

Absolutely, & the game is awesome & the DRM is perfectly fine for me, way better than activation limits.

    I didn't knew about this

It's really stupid to play a single player game with internet connection...lets see that you don't have net for any reason (there are lots of them) you can't play the game and thats annoying

ubisoft want's to stop piracy with this? Are they stupid or they have mental problems? That's impossible, they can't stop piracy, every1 knows that the internet connection this is stupid but a big company cant understand that, they must be stupid or have a IQ of 1.

The game is going to be cracked sonner or later, just w8.

so far it did its job
MANY ppl alredy finished their game (yay for me)
and there is still no functional workaround of DRM

sure in time it will get cracked like everything
but so far forums are full of pirates whining "drm is evil dont buy game" becouse they are petryfyed by posibility it MIGHT be uncrackable

same reason for atacks on Ubi servers btw
PC gaming: happily "dieing" since 1982

If you look around the net, you will see thousands of piracy freaks aiming for a DOS attack on the UbiSoft servers, and maybe they have succeeded on overloading some.

Life is best for those who enjoy it, difficult for those who analyze it and worst for those who criticize it.

The would-be pirates are upset because they can't play a game they've not paid for (For whatever circumstances), and are trying to keep people who are legal owners of the right to use the software from enjoying their legitimate product.

In other words, the pirates and warez-users are "BAWWWWWWWWW"'ing worse than teen wannabe furry drama-llamas/attention-*****s.

THAT'S the right way to go about getting this DRM removed, note the sarcasm dripping as blood from a freshly severed jugular vein/punctured liver.
    Yo.

Not everyone who doesn't support the new DRM like to pirate all their games. Some of us genuinely don't like it for other reasons.

When you launch such a protection you have to protect your costumer also, you can't tell me they didn't expect DOS attacks.

It's silly to just pick PC games to do this when the same happens on 360, Wii, DS, PSP just as much. Some people even own 2 360s for that purpose, 1 to play pirated games on and another for purchased games.
Trust is a fragile thing. Once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Those we're closest to can betray us,and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.

I HATE and I mean absolutely HATE pirates but I don't support this DRM. If this DRM would completely stop piracy then I could support it but it fails so then the only people suffering are the consumers.

I don't like to be punished for not doing anything wrong. Plus there are a lot of cases where you and I will not have internet access or other problems where this DRM will fail.

Didn't you know all pc gamers are pirates that is what ubisoft and other publishers think. Also they should be surprised how much the 360 gets pirated also.Whats next we only have the right to rent and not own the game.People will buy the game and bend over and say more please.
