I haven't played the game. Since I don't buy games that contain starforce or extreme DRMs. Is Creed 2 that good or better than the originial that your willing to deal with unsatisfactory experience to buy from Ubi? I personally refuse, I won't buy splinter cell conviction if it has such intrusive drm. Ubisoft games aren't necessity like food water or even automobile. I can live without them if need be.

I'm pretty close to finishing the game, just got Altair's Armour, and i've yet to encounter a downed server. You just need some patience and the game loads, and you can play it just like all the other games. I'm quite happy with buying the game legitly.

I got the game and I love it. True its a pain in the backside about the constant need for an internet connection but I cant blame them for doing this. They made the game in order to make profit and rightfully dont want people stealing said product, all the other methods dont work so they are going this way. though it is a pain I dont blame them, I blame the people who are pirating the game. It's because of their cheap butts that I have to wait months to play a game that I have been wanting to play, its because of them that some games dont come out on pc, so its them that I have anger towards. I mean really is it that darn expensive to buy a $60 game, especially when they are willing to spend $60 dollars or more a month for the internet connection they use to STEAL said game?

I have a friend who moved to New Zealand and wanted to play the game, but he is kinda ****ed; They give a bandwidth cap, something that this game would cause to be reached rather quickly, and then it slows down below his optimal speed when it reaches the cap, and then he gets charged massive amounts for going over his limit. It's just bull**** the things they come out with now a days. It's just easier when they sell you the game, and you can do whatever you want with it. Sure people shouldn't pirate it, but people will do it anyways. And people in general just respect the company more when they don't make you go through loop-holes just to play and register a damn game.

I've played through the first 1/3 or so of the game and have had no problems whatever. I had plans to buy this as soon as I heard it was coming out.I looked for a pirated copy to check it out before I bought it. Couldn't find one that you could play any missions to save my life. so IMHO as far as needing to be connected I've had no problems at all.
