i only selected number1 and it stll crashed always wen entering lifts or doors or finishing level so annoying is a new trainer now then

still probs as the pred. Rfeinary level, just using the health(hack) when i approuch the flames(douse em kill the aliens etc) crash with trainer, no crash without.

i do think think this games has to many cheat checks to cover tbh

The Trainer Caliber made works great for most part of the game play.

I have found another possible detection location. The crash happens every time the Player character is involved in a scripted event. Like for instance when the player pulls Tequila out of the Webbing that's keeping her in place until the parasite bursts out of her.

I get a "AVP has to be shut down" Window every time it happens instead of the regular crash to desktop without a error message like that.

I'm on Windows XP using the DX9 version of the game.

its a massive shame such a good game has cheat checks on it and the game is made so much better with a good trainer like this i just hope there will be a solution sometime soon

Personally, I don't blame the companies for trying to prevent cheating; I blame the chuckleheads who cheat in MULTIPLAYER. They ruin it for everyone by bringing the heat down on those of us who just want to mess around in singleplayer.

Saving grace, I've also found that Super Health 'sticks' after a crash to desktop, which can be very handy for reaching the next checkpoint without dying.

please let me know if anyone comes up with a fix

All I've read about crashes here was for both the Predator and the Marine campaigns.

For me, it crashes with the Alien one, when we have the cutscene when we liberate the "Queen mum".

So far, I haven't tried the other campaigns but there is no reason to think that these would be any different for me than for everybody else here : crashes and crashes, with, sometimes, some gameplay between both.

Interestingly enough, I noticed that said campaign also crashes at the same moment even if I didn't launched the trainer, and even if I launched it without activating it with F1. Never experienced such a lot of crashes in a game, with or without trainer.

Thanks to Rebellion for having, de facto, made playing this game is single player with a trainer such a pain in the ass ; and thanks to Cheathappens' team and, especially, Caliber, for having done everything he could and beyond despite this ****ty protection to provide the best trainer possible.

Let's hope a patch and/or a sudden epiphany from the part of Rebellion make this game playable for all EVEN WITH A TRAINER in singleplayer.

Indeed! Unnerving to say the least that one isnt able to use trainers in singleplayer-mode.
