    I do get it.

You are saying that personal computers designed for Windows are fundamentally different than personal computers designed for MacOS.

But that distinction doesn't matter in the discussion.

You are the one who doesn't get it.

    Hello Neo

So I think PC's will be fine, theres some games you just cant play on a console, as the accuracy of the mouse and the huge number of keys on a key board are vital.

Consoles are great fun, but if I were a serious hardcore gamer I'd go PC

That is becoming more and more untrue as people are adapting to controllers. The best example would be FPS games, I wouldn't be able to play without a mouse/keyboard input but some people have become so good and precise with a controller that a mouse/keyboard wouldn't make any difference.

But the gameplay is inhibited with just a controller. There just aren't enough buttons on it. There's what, maybe 20 buttons on a 360's controller. There's over 100 different keys on a keyboard. With fewer buttons, there just aren't as many options to to different things in the game.

And like both Shibby and I have said, you can't get the same accuracy with a joy stick that you can with a mouse.

I would still argue on that for people I have played with but forget it.

That is true, although most games don't require the number of buttons offered by a computer. The control layouts of shooters are perfectly suited to a controller. The buttons are all close bu so you don't have to move much, and there really aren't that many things you need to do. Aside from an RTS, there isn't much benefit of a whole keyboard, at least none I can think of right now.

As for the accuracy of "Controller vs. Keyboard", I don't think you can choose either as the actual superior method. A keyboard might be more precise for some but I learned how to play games with a controller and that's how I play best. A keyboard mouse combo just doesn't feel natural in my hands.
