Then compare it to The Empire Strikes Back.

Lots of preparation, relationships developed, skills acquired, villains met, a duel of great import for the future...

This is probably a better analogy than TT.
In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

Again, it was someone elses analogy which seemed appropriate at the time. My last post was kind of trying to move my example away from any actual named trilogies, but The Empire Strikes Back works and would have been better, yes.

Actually with ME 2 the story evolves around Sidequests. Sidequests if you noticed played a role in ME 1 and brought in with ME 2.

Some examples are The Fan and Scan the Keeper.

I still find it hard to be faithful in ME2 with Alenko when he doesn't even want to talk to me.

I wish I could kill that Meatbag Alenko. He is a whiny Meatbag soldier. One that reminds me of Carth "Cry Me a River" Onasis.

    1. It's a build up to ME3. Think of it as a 2 parts to 1 story. Something like matrix.

    2. It does follow what its tag line says, "Assemble your team"
