tali dies 2 sec after the move starts rolling, so you have not picked your team yet

atleast what i rem you dont pick team untill tali is dead and few more min passed and you get boarded

The goal is to save your entire crew!
There is even a reward for it.
Make sure your ready to travel and face the Collectors as soon as you get the IFF gadget; that means you have your whole crew and LOYAL!.
On the Collector "ship", after the Omega4 relay passage, you must assign the right people to the right job; who is a trained leader,tech,biotic...

yea but i wanted the geth to meet talis flottilla, it was legend....wait for it.... DARY !!!

Someone corrected me in another thread that you actually get two missions to complete before the Normandy crew gets liquified, rather than the one I experienced... if this is true, you can leave Tali's quest until last, meaning you can get his loyalty AND take him to the Flotila. I can't confirm, but I'm playing it through again (on insane, holy crap) and will let you know.

but i have started fully new from ME1, got about 5 hour left in ME1 before i start in ME2 again and this time, then yes, i will save tali and legend missions and do the rest, then go for iff, then do tali mission, and legion, sometimes the joker mission trigger 1 mission after, sometimes 2 missions after

Actually, now I think about it, there only needs to be 1 mission leeway...

Get the IFF mission - Legion loyalty - Attack on Normandy - Tali's Loyalty - Suicide Mission.

EDIT: Success! Retrieved the IFF then completed both Tali and Legion's loyalty missions before the Normandy is attacked. I'm not sure what I did differently this time - I've only been able to do one mission before the attack on my previous playthroughs - but I'm not complaining. I expected more of a reaction to a Geth being on a Quarian vessel, but it was still worth it for the little additional scenes.

I have played through the game 3 times now and every time tali dies when we get to the collector homeworld, when she closes the doors she gets hit, does anyone know how to prevent that?
